New games in 2020. you are looking forward to!

Here is one more really cool new game!

This is a preview of a Indie game called Taur which is an action-strategy sci-fi game. It features many game and genre elements like shooter, real-time strategy, tower defense and more, creating a unique type of gameplay. It was developed by one-person indie studio Echo Entertainment.

Following the previous five videos about upcoming new games is 2020. this one covers extra 9 new Indie games with release dates as close as February. This video is going to include some of the new Indie games you all have suggested I show off and a few more peaceful, relaxed games which was also one of your suggestions I add to the list. I got even more new Indie games suggestions from all the viewers so I will use them in all the next video as well.

List of games in this video:
1. Songs of Conquest 0:45
2. Make Your Kingdom 2:02
3. Distant Kingdoms 3:12
4. Democracy 4 4:30
5. Aircraft Carrier Survival 5:40
6. Weakless 6:58
7. Dwarrows 8:35
8. Wasteland Remastered 9:16
9. Taur 10:35

This list contains more than just strategy and simulation Indie games which we will be able to play this year. As I have a lot more new Indie games to show off for 2020. I will continue making more videos such as this in the coming weeks in a series of videos dedicated to new Indie games that will be released in 2020. More videos will follow and all these videos will cover more then just 4X turn based, grand, RTS, simulation, city-building and squad tactics Indie strategy games. Almost all of them are new IPs from independent studios often consisting of a single lone developer. This is my way of supporting them and showing these games to their audience and future players.

This is a preview video of a new Indie game called Broken Lines, one for which I have had the pleasure of interviewing one of the developers personally and getting answers for my top 10 questions about this game.

Hans von Knut Skovfoged, creative director, from PortaPlay answered my question and I quote him in this video as he gives the viewers more information about the games setting, character design, combat mechanics, easter eggs and much more.

Baldur's Gate 3 had a gameplay element preview today.

It looks very nice, and the intro cinematic well worth watching - and it's definitely something I'll buy.

But I'm not entirelly convinced it's a Baldur's Gate game.

Had this stance for several games in the recent past and got severely disappointed. Borderlands 3 being the biggest failure in my eyes. Established franchises these days seem to worry more about how to increase their profit margin then making a worthy game. And oftentimes the solutions feel more like lazy secondary work rather then the main effort of years of development. Baldurs gate is an iconic game which has transformed the genre landscape in its wake. But I doubt its the same people working on it anymore and I also doubt the goal is the same. Not saying its not gonna be a hit. Hell...Borderlands 3 is a commcerical success and has lots of fans. Its just that I personally feel disappointed when I evaluate what we got.

So how much "Baldurs Gate" will be in Baldurs gate 3 at the end? And will it be designed around micro-transactions, borderline-P2W and grinds instead?

A lot of game franchises these days come from a past of "fun and incredible games" and build upon that past success to release something that feels more like work and is designed to entice additional money spending.

When I look back to the games I played I feel that years ago I got 100% game. Doesnt mean the game itself was awesome or the best thing since sliced bread but it was pure game all the way. Oftentimes successors feel like they are only 50% game anymore (or less) and too much attention and focus has gone into things that are aimed at peoples wallets instead of the game experience. I get that free to play games have to do this in order to get back what they spend on development but why fully priced titles?

Greed is the most obvious answer and also the reason why I judge new and upcoming titles very harshly and am suspicious....now. Because I have to admit I got lured in by the hype as well. I was a massive Borderlands fan and gave the studio credit and my faith. And I got burned. This is a personal disappointment that newer generations probably cannot understand. But I do see the lacking, the barely evolved mechanics, artificial busy-work to prod customers toward a certain action, withheld content to be released as DLC etc. Oftentimes I feel that this is the natural development of a true fan. You watch as the company which started out creating what you love, slowly errodes your love for money and profit.

I still need to remind myself often these days to stay suspicious and wary because "hype" is a dangerous opponent. And it never pays off for the player.

I'm not sure I'd put Larian Studios into the "nasty" gang of the more profit orientated studios mate.

The divinity series is some of the best modern gaming out there. It's totally clear to me at least that they are putting a lot of effort and dedication into BG3

Maybe I'm getting the wrong idea, but it looks like someone is taking a sneaky chance to promote their channel.

This is a first look into the new economic strategy city-building game called Builders of Egypt. It's an Indie game made by a single developer behind the company Strategy Labs. The Prologue for the game is now playable on Steam while the while game will enter Early Access soon.

Builders Of Egypt: Prologue is an economic type of city-building taking place in the valley of the Nile. The story starts in a little-known protodynastic period in which you will be able to observe the birth of the Old Egypt and finished with the death of Cleopatra VII. The most important aspect is the skillful management of urban planning by shaping the grid of streets, placing buildings and their mutual relation. Well-designed city will greatly improve economic efficiency which may convert into city income.

Lovin' the twins

I've had a few bikes (thinned out a bit now) that I'd collected over the years...mostly vintage Brits I restored as a hobby to bring some pennies in... but a few Evo Harleys and odds and sods sprinkled amongst them...all massively off topic I know, but I love bike pics :D

I've never been too clever at fabricating so apart from mechanics and basic fettling I leave that up to guys like you who have talent :D
My thing was always paint...I've done some amateur doodles for mates and most of my own tins. I haven't used an airbrush in a couple of years though...busy farm to run and other stuff doesn't give me the time or luxury to do it any more...
