Um... that's unexpected. Can anyone else verify this is happening? (I can't try it until I get home from work).
I can't reproduce it.

This is an excellent tool but I have a few niggles.
Is there anyway to add in systems without stations? I was doing some exploring and just typing in the system names on add so they were showing up as systems but leaving the stations blank (due to not exploring them). Once I closed and reopened the program they were gone.
Could the travel log pull the system name from the game like ocr does and use that rather than needing to click arrive and depart each time as this way you could log unexplored systems.
The economy names are like High Tech - Extraction but on the system view they show the other way around. I understand that this is a design choice to display all system types together but it does niggle me when they should be the other way around.
Could you add in check boxes like the black market one for shipyard, outfitting, refuel and reload? It would be nice to know at a glance where to go for stuff.
Any plans to expand the trading to do multi-hop routes rather than just round trip?
This with ocr is great for trading without cheating and I can pull in all station data in under a minute. Thanks a lot for the awesome work![]()

v3.0:
Distances. I'm an traveling trader with a lot Systems and Stations over 150Ly radius. So the Trading-Window didn't realy help, because the "good" traderoutes are mostly over 50-100Ly. I wish i could quality a range in which the Round-Trips will be calculated.
I know this will be complicated, i've no idea where to get the coordinates und how to calculated then the distances between to Stars (perhaps the verbose netLog?).
Each pop-up window has a button in the top right which toggles that window to stay above any others. When the word 'top' is in capital letters, it stays above.the main window also pops up in front of the Trading window. I'd like it i that last bit could be removed.

So use that button on the trading window and the 'need results' window will not force the main window to come to the front.
Well if you stack every single window this program provides on top of each other then of course that will be the result. There's a reason why they are all in their own individual windows. That way the results window stays behind the trading window too (with the search results window being a 'child window' of the trading window you'd expect otherwise). Though with the search results window put to the side that works.
Except that TOP also forces the trading window above windows of all other programs and I might want to alt-tab occasionally.
I came across this thread and thought great, just what I need to keep a record of where I have been. However, I am thinking that the learning curve for this is only a little less than the game itself. I therefore started a spreadsheet and went back over my numerous notes deciding what to include. The more I used it the more I realised that I needed to keep adding fields to record data. So maybe the Comd's Log is the only way to go. Is there any form of instruction/guide or is a case of learning by use?
Thanks for encouragement - is it possible to add all my data from spreadsheet/notes in retrospect? (I accept that this would be a manual task) - I am thinking about the chronological ordering of the information
The program only displays time relatively, for example "9d", "15m" or "new".
All the data you enter will be assumed current for the time you enter it.
