Modes No longer playing open

I don't think single-players/co-op multiplayers concern over OPEN ONLY Powerplay is who people in Open are going to be instanced with...how timezones, friendlists and platforms effect this etc etc...
They have a bigger and more serious concern...
They're NOT ALLOWED to access the content at all...

If they are really interested in the content, in the spirit in which the designers intended, it's simply a case of them clicking a different option.

But I digress with my own opinions here; I'm merely acting as a middle-woman for EdzUp, who assured us that it's just cosmetic changes.

Look at the way the game works currently:
1)Blocking - Open or PG blocking is the same if I block a player I'm no longer instances with them regardless of PP affiliations.

2) I can block anyone and everyone

Given these two rules Open PP is as good as Solo PP if I block everyone. As I stated in another post block lists need to have PP affiliations on them so opposition players are not blocked no matter what so PvP and PP combat remains in the game.

As usual the PvE and Solo Players go with the *I play the Game how I want to play it or I dont play it at all*
And the RPKs and Griefers which got no Arguments to support their idea that surely people would love to be ganked and griefed. Resort to trolling and personal Insults to avoid a discussion.

This Pattern is getting boring guys.
Get this into your Head.
Players aint Workers.
They Play for Fun.
No Fun = No Player
Being Forced into somdthing they dont like is not Fun.
So no matter how hard you try.
Nobody who wasnt doing PP in Open anyways will do PP in Open if its Open only.
If they cant do it they will simply not do it.
And possibly they will leave the Game entirely.


Thats simply how games work.
Given how many times ED has already tried to Force Players into doing something and has failed so pathetically that they reversed it.
You would think we would be over that topic by now.
But it seems some people still dont get it....

There are also people who will do PP if it goes to open only who were not interested before.

Seems like you have a slanted take on things.

Also repped.
Seems the one group that don't get it the most are the game designers!
If PP moves to Open only, there will be other people like me who will simply find another game. Simply because FD will be setting a bad precedence

Yes. Me for example. I don't like shooting other CMDRs without reason, but now there is a reason given to me.
So when I have decided to which faction I will pledge, I will gladly try to destroy all enemy CMDRs.
That's neither ganking nor griefing though.

There is a reason the Open mode is first on the list of Modes when you enter the game. Because it is the main mode and really the mode that the game is designed for.

We need to support FDev when they make decisions to support Open mode. Open mode is the future of this game.

Guess you miss the point of Mobius then ... it is where people who play Solo (not myself) can go if they want and not have to deal with PVP. Apparently you think people saying that the modes are equal equates to people saying the modes are identical... they are not. Pointing out that there are differences in the modes is akin to pointing out that the letters "A" and "B" look different.

Why do you think the main menu doesn't follow the alphabetical formula? Nor the options menu.
Perchance that the alphabetical idea is nothing more than a coincidence?
