Nocturnal Animal Pack DLC/Update 1.11 Speculation

Theming packs after animal behaviors we don't have would seem odd to me. If it is day or night is in no way affecting the animals in the game, it is just a visual feature.

I am just trying to figure a theme that would allow Frontier to pack as many highly-requested animals into the game as possible. It seems like support for the game may end at the end of this year. With the last two packs, especially the conservation pack, it seems like they are packing them full with highly-requested animals. I just don't see how any other pack that has been mention could encompass a large quantity of animals that the majority of players want.

Not saying nocturnal animal pack is unrealistic option, but since frontier value their time and money such pack would end up with some ,,reskin,, animals like red fox and ocelot
(just like every animal pack does afterall).
In my opinion maned wolf and porcupine/sloth (depending on their choice) definitely wouldnt make in.

Since people are throwing their rosters:
  • Tasmanian Devil
  • Kiwi
  • Indian Crested Porcupine
  • Slow Loris
  • Red Fox
  • Ocelot
  • Red River Hog
  • Lord Howe Stick Insect

I don't think maned wolves would be that hard. We already have quite a few canines in game, so there is already a building off point. Porcupines were mentioned in the game files too. I mean they could have been scrapped but still. I know the sloth is a bit of a reach, but they are such a beloved zoo animal. I would be so weird if Frontier didn't add them into the game before support ends. If they can figure brachiation, I'm pretty sure they could figure how to do sloths realisticly.

A nocturnal pack without bats and owls would feel incomplete, and I doubt they'd introduce aviaries as a side feature in a nocturnal pack.

I'd rather get a nocturnal pack after aviaries are introduced, if ever.
Definitely agreed! But I just don't know how likely it is to even get aviaries this late in Planet Zoo's development. It would have to be a huge DLC to get a decent variety of birds, as there wouldn't be a ton of consecutive DLCs to flesh out that part of the roster.

According to @Doran it is likely. I learnt not to expect anything with Frontier, but also learned that Frontier can surprise time and time again.

I don't think Doran has ever said it's likely. He's just a hardcore pusher for birds.
No offense, but what authority does @Doran have over what features get added to the game?
He works a lot harder than most of us to understand the economics of the game, at least, so he tends to be a pretty safe bet on how DLC's are performing and such.
