When I Google "tropical animals" the first pictures I get are: Toucan, Macaw, Squirrel monkeys, sloths etc.

Where are the BIRDS!! (and fish, but especially birds)

This was the perfect oppertunity for a mixed aviary(i.e. the Walkthrough exhibit) with some different species of macaws. Like with the butterflies.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this pack at all. But it doesn't scream TROPICAL to me it's a weird arrangement of animals.

• I like the Sloth. It's a weird choice of species, but it's a sloth.
• I like the Fossa, it's very unique
• I get that they chose RRH. It was highly requested. But it's Yet Another African Animal!
• lar Gibbon.... Sorry, why are we getting a second gibbon when we are badly in need of SA monkeys?? Squirrel monkeys at the top of my list. But howler monkeys or any other SA monkey would have been fine. Why a second gibbon?
• asian water monitor... Sorry but this is almost a copy of the nile monitor. If another monitor, which I have no problem with, Why not a Varanus macraei (blue spotted tree monitor) something that at least looks fresh and new.
• also (but I'm probably alone in this). Why are no chameleons in the game yet??

The Building/plant pieces look great and I love building. But a pack-name like this would have been better suited as an animal pack. Because now there are SO MANY missed oppertunities.

we are in the same boat! We have Gray Fox at PZ! Red Fox has variations in Silver colors and Cross. just kidding, but I mean you can do that and then if some day we will get the Gray Fox you can replace it

HeHeHe, I also love science fiction but with HORROR! haha, OR! you can create Gray Fox with 10,000 pieces in the game Hahaha. maybe frontier would give the Gray Fox as an anniversary free animal, it can be possible.

It's been a while since I wrote on the forum because to tell the truth I'm a bit bored with the expansion policy of this game and this time too I have to say that all the bad habits have been respected, but now I'm not surprised.

Only 5 animals of which the only truly surprising to see is the Sloth, of which I appreciate the choice, which I had foreseen, as an exhibition animal.

The Fossa is interesting and not obvious.

The choices of the Red River Hog are very "imaginative" (although he is one of the most beautiful pigs and one that I would have liked to see in the game, it is very obvious that he would have been included due to the presence of pig models already created in the past), and the choice of the Lar Gibbon (although it's a monkey that I really like, given the presence and copy of the model of another gibbon after the Siamang).


But the real pearl this time, on which I spread a pitiful veil, is the Asian Water Monitor...I have no words for this choice...

If you make DLC of only 5 animals, at least first create the ones that are really still missing in the game such as particularity, diversity and popularity.

Not to mention the terrible absence, for the umpteenth time, of flying birds...

To those saying they won’t buy this DLC because they are disappointed with this pack because it didn’t include the animals they wanted… if you want your favorite animals being added in the future the best way to achieve that is buying this DLC and support Frontier, so they will continue making DLCs in the future.

I knew this time it would be a scenery pack, and it includes 4 of the Top10 most wanted animals in the Meta-wishlist, including one of my most wanted animals since Zt2: the red river hog!

Omg finally a new lizard habitat species! I'm so happy!

(To those complaining about a monitor, we have only had one monitor the entire game while there is so many species of bears. More habitat lizards is a win in my book)

Also really excited for the fossa!

agreed. the monitor is certainly not the one i would leave out, of this roster

I always buy everything at the moment it’s released precisely because I see it as an investment in helping ensure future content (and there’s always something I want straight away too).

I'm personally excited for this pack. I've wanted another brachiating gibbon since we got the Siamang and think the Lar Gibbon an excellent choice. I've also wanted a sloth but have to admit I asked myself why because they move so slowly that watching a sloth habitat had the potential to be like watching grass grow, lol. The WE was probably the best choice for the sloth. Besides, I think it's nice to have a mammal we can use with the WE. I'm happy with all the animal choices even though I realize they won't please everyone. It's rather impossible to please 100% of the people 100% of the time.

I think the scenery looks wonderful, too. I've wishlisted and am looking forward to both the pack release and update.

Hmmmm… Fossa and sloth are great but the other choices…? Very sun-optimal, in the context of a tropical pack… There are so, so many better choices that could have been made - the hog is ok, and would’ve been great in an animal pack but the monitor and the gibbon… they don’t add a great deal in comparison to almost any monkey / almost anything from South America…. The pieces promise to be great, so I will be buying it, but TBH, I’m a little disappointed at the lost opportunities…

I have to admit the RRH ARE cool! And from what I could see I love the fossa!! Last but not least, I'm hoping the animal statues are flexicolor?
