This would be logical yes. To just make it transparent or do anything really. This 'no' actually raises even more questions then it being ignored for 6 months. What are they doing over there? If it is indeed difficult for the devs to remove the curbs, couldn't an easy solution be to create a curb texture with 0% opacity, making it still there, but invisible?
who is not saying that this was one of their solutions? I get it, I really want to toggle aswell, but saying i know it better than the devs is this part, where i say: OK, let's send in your CVIf it is indeed difficult for the devs to remove the curbs, couldn't an easy solution be to create a curb texture with 0% opacity, making it still there, but invisible?
wow i didnt know this one from him, thanks for sharing. but yeah the workaround that has to be done for this is just waaaaaaay to big. appreciate you sharing the workaroung but thats clearly not the same as a simple toggleIn the meantime, with a little work, we CAN make curbless paths. Check out this video. (and his other videos as there are some great tricks you can learn)

Fingers crossed, and it’ll help make our queues more attractive. Thank you! (screenshots is from first game)Hi all,
Thanks for your feedback in this thread. We have fed back to the team that the community would like kerbless paths, or the option to toggle kerbs on/off.
This isn't something that is being worked on right now but we will let you know if that changes.
I totally agree, it was VERY late when I wrote this and I just had some pretty bad IRL news, so I wasn't doing the best. I do agree that they're trying their best. it's just a bit offputting that they didn't design the system with this feature in mind, when it was such a utilized feature in the first game.I fully agree it's a much requested feature and it can be frustrating it can't be implemented right away.
However, be very carefull with statements like this. Frontier already responded by saying :
"It's a substantial amount of work to make this happen to a quality level we'd be happy with and the community would be happy with. Right now, there are no plans to add a toggle (as suggested in this thread), but I've fed back to the team the request for kerbless paths."
This clearly indicates it is not as simple as you make it out to be. Don't try to overrule the developers who make the game.
Thanks for this response. I do disagree with the decision to not work on bringing the game up to par with it's predecesor(s, including planzoo), but I'm not a developer or in management so obviously I can't do much about it. glad to know that you all have it written down somewhere. the path system really needs an overhaul, it feels like two steps forward one step back.Hi all,

Instead then please can we make them recolourable? It already changes colour when railing is applied, so just being able to change the colour to blend in with our creations would be vastly betterHi all,

It's a huge natural path plaza with added small path of an other texture on it. Barriers were used to keep the peeps on (visible) track...If it requires a lot of work to remove kerbs, then it seems that the paths were created with the kerbs baked in and that they would probably have to rewrite the paths to remove them. The kerbs do go away when you add path and remove it or add the tree stump paths. How did the person on youtube completely remove the kerbs? Some sort of trick? In the first game we had the option to turn them on or off but in PC2 the path system was redesigned with baked in kerbs it seems. But, apparently there is a way to hide or remove them through a trick, or by attaching tree stump path.
Did you even watch the video? I mean it does work but i dont want to spend 100 barriers and a full hour only for one single plaza to end without kerbs. I appreciate sharing that idea and the stuff that this youtuber keeps finding out is amazing. Frontier should habe hired him to help them develop the pathing tool and make these workarounds actual features and accesibleIf it requires a lot of work to remove kerbs, then it seems that the paths were created with the kerbs baked in and that they would probably have to rewrite the paths to remove them. If they maybe say what is different or why exactly it isn't working when it was no problem from the start in the first game, then maybe people can help find a solution or a workaround. Because ignoring something for so long only to say "nope we can't" only raises more questions
