PSA: Operation La Forge - Finishing the Colonia Engineers

Operation La Forge.jpg

As most people know the Colonia Engineers are a special breed and gain engineering knowledge by using them. In the last two and a half years through normal use and/or focused efforts most blueprints advanced to G5 levels and only 9 blueprints remain to be upgraded.

Operation La Forge will start officially on December, the 1st and hopefully before years end all Colonia engineers can join Mel Brandon at the beach in Eol Prou PC-K c9-221.
This is in spirit of the original Operation Montgomery Scott and we hope it has the same success. A little bit under 200.000 experience points are needed for all the remaining blueprints to get to G5 (1 G1 roll = 1 point, 1 G2 roll = 2 points, 1 G3 roll = 3 points, and 1 G4 roll = 4 points).

The not yet completed blueprints are:
Marsha Hicks: Fuel Transfer Limpet Controller, Hatch Breaker Limpet Controller, Cannons
Petra Olmanova: Mine Launchers, Torpedo Pylons, ECM, AFMU
Ettiene Dorn: Kill Warrant Scanner, Manifest Scanner

If you are in Colonia and have some mats to spare there are 3 engineers who will appreciate them. If you come to Colonia to unlock the engineers please use the aforementioned blueprints to level your access with them. And if you come from the bubble fully loaded with mats to help out many thanks to you too.

See you out in the black and have fun.

Q: Is it even possible to get mines to grade 5? Engineering
Absolutely. The only thing we've noticed to not be possible is SCBs, which have been researched to grade 5 but only have g4 unlocked, possibly for balance reasons.

Although they're only at g3 in the bubble of course.

We know g5 mines exist in the game already, so no reason to think they won't be in Colonia.

i wonder if SPEAR would help me stop you from doing this?

or better yet, is there a way that i could ally with Civitas Dei to remove the engineers from Colonia?

Edit: /s

the above comments were related to recent events in Colonia where the only shipyard selling Alliance and some other ships was taken away by the above. the above comments were also meant to be taken as sarcastic suggestions. i have no interest in working with either SPEAR or Civitas Dei.

Go ahead, sunshine...
The migrants who think they are lawful couldn't find their rear ends with both hands and a map...
Do you really believe any of us would be bothered? :ROFLMAO:

Sorry to burst your bubble... not

The only way would be for them to upgrade all the missing blueprints before we officially start. If you can get them to do it big thumbs up from me.(y)
It's not about who does the upgrading only that it progresses and hopefully all blueprints are finished before Odyssey drops.
Operation Montgomery Scott was very successful on bringing awareness to the process and this follows hopefully in the same footsteps. Everybody can participate, it would be nice to see all the landing pads at the engineer bases full with people rolling blueprints.

I probably missed the /s

I was a little confused by your post... (but I'm old, it's expected!)
But the response was quite fun typing out ;)

...don't do it again 😤
(Well, not for at least 5 minutes!)
