lol, of course it does. If it didn't nobody would be here talking about it or doing it. The entire point of doing it is to impact your game in a meaningful way.

Honestly don't see why people have an issue with other people being rich.
Exploit ticket sent in.
Thanks for the video proof.
The net nanny is strong with this one. What a whining berk. If you have ever stacked kill missions in a system, and used the fact that one kill counted for all the missions, you have also exploited. You are no better than Draymont Green of the Golden State Warriors calling Kelly Olynik of the Celtics a dirty player. Way to be a hypocrite.
+1 kick in the balls for the draymond green joke. I'm assuming they're a huge target if you honestly expected an american basketball reference to land on these forums.

Today I learned that I'm better than "Draymont Green" for not stacking missions in a sci-fi space video game. [cool]
I figured there had to be SOME NBA fans in these forums, with the number of successful Europeans in the NBA now. Plus, since Kelly Olynik played for my hometown team in college, Green calling him dirty kind of ticked me off.

Do you happen to know trade routes in the bubble like this, or are they only outside?
Been flying around systems, currently at barnard's star trying to find good ones, but just can't find ones that are nearly as lucrative as that :s
Yeah yeah, it's o-topic question I know, but there's nothing more to be said about Quince now, those who dislike it will not change minds and continue to be negative about it, those who like it will just keep using it.
The background sim and other shared components of this unavoidably multi-player game impacts my experience in a meaningful way, even if I have no particular designs regarding the BGS myself.
More money allows for more BGS manipulation, unwittingly or intentionally, and the game certainly looks far different now than it would have if these exploits had never existed.
The only time I've ever actually been affected by the BGS is a lockdown scenario
If these sorts of things were making it so there are no more, say, Anarchy systems to play in, then I might be more on board with that.
The background sim controls commodity prices, security levels, bounties/fines given, independent faction permits, what materials you can pull out of signal sources, mission availability, and quite a bit more. If you include PowerPlay as a BSG component (and for this example I will, because the resources available to CMDRs are just as capable of influencing it), you get a whole other layer of influence over top of everything, even if you aren't pledged to any power.
Maybe you aren't consciously aware of the BGS, but if you are in inhabited space, it almost certainly affects you.
I have a list of Anarchy systems from shortly after the last gobal reset. Almost none of them are anarchy any more.
There were also major events, like what was essentially the first CG, which I and many others actively participated in...whose results have been totally reversed by BGS activity. I'm not exaggerating when I say parts of space I used to frequent are now almost completely unrecognizable.
Changes would have happened without the run away credit values, but they wouldn't be the same changes and they would not have occurred at the same pace. Some of specific relevance may also have been counterable...as it stands there is no way for me to compete with the changes made by people who are willing to exploit to make credits ten or twenty times faster than I am.
Still a bit weird to have someone tell me it affects me when I don't feel affected at all. Not going to be able to fight the insistence I guess.

Maybe the concerned do-gooder should fly out there and shoot down those exploiters.
Its easy, boring, repetative, but not broken.
Anyone who states otherwise is trying to play the game for you. They are telling you that the way they play the game is right and the way you play the game is wrong.
Any statement about state of the game issues that making money causes is a self deluded fantasy. At best this is nothing more than a "Hey Look at me" Thread. At worst its just someone trying to make the game harder for others after they fully exploited the mission type to their hearts content. Hypocrites dont make good role models. Ceos Sothis and Robbigo all ruined due to adult children crying wolf has now made missions completed within the bubble a complete waste of time.
Either way this thread has no purpose and should be done.

I've always seen these things as [noob]. Honestly don't see why people have an issue with other people being rich. It doesn't really impact their game in any meaningful way and you are free to use or not use them at your discretion. I think the game needs more diversity in it's rewards. I prefer an imbalance as it's more accurate to reality.
