General Remove private Lobby and single Player

I´m not sure about your intension in your words.

Every system I visit since release was PvP area. I visit many systems, soo there is that.

The entire 400b star systems are potential PvP in Open, but in practice there are only a tiny number where it actually makes any sense!

He startet with him! I just say what Kirk would really do.

"For combat in general." - General combat with NPCs? So, to make combat even more easy and risk-free then it was before? I don´t believe. When would you nead a healing gun against NPCs? You don´t need one if you throw some farragut cruiser with a bunch of ships against your engeneered shields.

Players use engineering to reduce risk to themselves in all activities - PvP included.

I understand what you want to say. But in the end, there are no really risks in ED, beside PvP.
There are risks even without PvP - it depends on how much one engages in risk reduction through ship / outfit / engineering on how that the level of risk encountered may, or may not, affect the player.

Ahm. Okay. If you fullfill your Cobra cargo with Gold and dont outfit a shield and go into a military conflict zone.. . yea, you will lose some little money.

But I´m talking about youir mainship, which you hard planned out and worked for. No NPCs could mach such a mainship before and especially after engineers.

Don´t get me wrong, I really love engeneering!! But I also think it just really matters or makes a big difference when player interaction comes into play.

Depends on what role the ship is optimised for - if that role is not combat.

Indeed - and others choose to engineer their ships for their own reasons that have nothing whatsoever to do with PvP.

"In the black" I never outfit guns on a ship. Usually no shields either. Both too much weight to carry. Anyone who encounters me out in the black - I'm a sitting duck. NPCs I can run away from. So I play in solo or private group.

It's not "theoretically". It's literally thousands of players (explorers).
To me this (edit to specity: no shields, weak ship) looks like a you problem.

Edit #2: NPCs are snowflakes, note to FDEVs -> pls make them muderhobo killing machines so players will start blessing the day they see an hollow square in system.

Jesus. Git Gud.
As @Robert Maynard often points out, fully half of the player base are at or below the median skill level, by its very definition. As a lifelong waster and semi-professional slacker I’ve plenty of experience with computer games of most genres, and consider myself competent; that is, I play games at a level that suit my own playing skills and abilities. Others will find the same games easier or harder, more or less fun. For many of my sessions across the modes there are times when NPCs can give me hassle, and there is optional PvE content that I still consider above and beyond my current abilities. I’ve no need to seek extra risk, when I choose not to, to add extra lolz to my game sessions. But I can, as and when I choose to, by the virtue of the modes.

I imagine all players will settle into the gameloops and playstyles that suit their own fancies and abilities. With such a broad range of activities and playstyles, I’m not really sure the ‘git gud’ maxim works here.

Why?
No other players to be bothered with - no need... 🤷‍♂️
(NPCs are easy to evade, only other payers add any 'spice' to the main course)

She can do what she wants. The game is like it is.

But ... the feeling when you manage something which you failed before is so much nicer! From my point of view, all the solo-no shield players are missing the best experience that you can hjave in ED! And you CAN master open play, it´s not that hard.
