Menu responses to mouse clicks in station services seem off and a bit slow.
Server stability seems better, but I think I only saw a single human commander last night, whereas a couple of days ago I saw many, but could have been a result of the systems I was in while travelling away from Kaushpoos.
I need to log in again but did I notice a repair option that repaired everything
except paint? if we could just get paint applied at whatever wear level we want- would be cool.
Enjoyed a couple of the new missions and meeting up with contacts. Sometimes they behave a bit wonky though- I had one last night just throw a message up to the system and then drop out of Super Cruise without saying follow-me or anything of the sort. Just "Hey you are hard to find" and then dropped out of SC. A bit odd but also kind of fun if you aren't totally noob.
Heat management when fuel scooping seems to be amped up a bit too hard but I quickly learned to cope. The issue is once I go past about 75% heat it is almost guaranteed to suddenly be at 100% and taking damage and dropping out of SC. I have learned to keep up in the outer corona of stars to avoid this; but as I said it does seem a bit too sensitive/fast to heat given the minimal cues as to what we are doing. Hopefully FD get time in the future to enhance the fuel scooping with a bit more pizzazz and some UI stuff going on to make it a bit more interactive - like exploring...
So that's the new feedback at the moment. Not fixed since launch of 1.0 from my point of view:
I don't consider myself Ace but as a fair pilot, using energy management, manuevering thrusters and FA Off judiciously, I still find it difficult in Viper on down class ships to stay on the tail of Anaconda and Imperial Courier types. It seems to me it should be a bit easier/ more intuitive to do this- maybe not against an Elite ranked AI, but competent or less- why should these big ships be as maneuverable as the little ones?
Outfitting > I want to see some indication that I have decals and paint options I can apply on the menu before selecting it. Right now just blank boxes - not nice!
Also in outfitting, I would still like to see user controlled camera or at least some zoom options (among other enhancements that would make choosing modules more friendly via UI enhancements - like being able to go from comparison straight to buy instead of exiting out and having to select the module again to buy it, comparison of more than one module to the currently equipped one). I went to outfit a new Asp last night and couldn't for the life of me tell where the gun mount I was looking at was located- it looked like the rear of the ship but was the front. Having only one FD chosen zoom/ view in outfitting per hardpoint is a bit meh. Would also be cool to highlight the Hard Point and maybe show stats for it.
Final comment- probably no-one at FD cares but I have complained since launch about the odd choice of Size and Quality ratings- Higher is Always Better and letters should not be used at all! "A" should never be "the best" because it is an presents a lock on any future "betterness", without resorting to "AA" which just seems absurd. I think best module being A rated is a poor design choice. But maybe that's just me.
