We have! I have to download it onto my phone as I broke my old phone
Oh, that’s not good!
What’s been your favorite bird you!ve seen? Mine is definitely the Stellar’s Jay I saw out in Utah when I went last spring. I loved them since childhood and really wanted to see one IRL. I finally did then!

I didn’t get a picture of it, in fact that was before I was really even into birding so there were probably a million species I saw on that trip I didn‘t mark down 😂

Oh man, great question, I have so many 😅

I think maybe the major Mitchell's cockatoo, I've only seen them twice but they're very cool and interesting birds, with declining species numbers. I am dying to get good close up shots.

And here I am just remembering those cardinals I see every spring😅

Y'all are seeing alien birds, and I'm stuck on house sparrows

Ah yes, the true invasive species.
I have so many at my feeders you wouldn’t believe. But I also do get a good amount of Chickadees, Nuthatches, Titmice, Blue Jays, New World Sparrows, Cardinals, and the occasional Woodpecker.

Ok, but seriously, the birds I've seen in the wild:

  • Northern cardinals
  • Mourning doves (beautiful bird but invasive here)
  • Feral pigeon (I actually like pigeons)
  • American black vulture
  • Eastern bluebird
  • Great blue heron
  • Red-tailed hawk (it was on our fountain in our backyard)
  • Bald eagle
  • Ruddy duck
  • Quaker parrots (invasive here. Basically like pigeons)
  • Blue jay
  • Red-headed woodpecker
  • Ivory-billed woodpecker

Guys I need your opinions on something:

For Eastborro Zoo, I can do one of two things:
1. Arabian Nights, a nocturnal house with maybe Sand Cats and Caracals, and maybe fruit bats if I can find a way to make the exhibit look smaller. This would connect the Asia to future Africa sections.
2. Something else, not sure exactly what, but I’m open to ideas 😅
