So i got a call today from a friend because there was an adder in his moms kitchen, and since im the animal guy in my friend group and keep reptiles he asked if i could safely remove it.
Said sure and grabed some thick gloves, a net and a box and go over there. The snake was hiding in a corner under a little shelf, probably just as scared as my friend and his mom

.
Well turns out it wasnt an adder, not even a snake lol. It was just a slowworm, or a legless lizard for anyone not familiar, completely harmless.
Got a quick laugh out of my friend and his mom freaking out when i just picked the little guy up with my bare hands and put it in a box and let him go near a little creek on the way home afterwards.
Its kinda crazy to me how there are just 2 venomous snakes living over here that are potentially dangerous and people can even identify them, or tell them apart from legless lizards
