Yes. You can turn on Insider preview channel and download the latest Windows 10 preview builds. I doubt the Feature Experience will help you or Odyssey.
Typical Microsoft. You say "Off", Microsoft says no, On.
Game Mode is on by "default" in Windows 10,
All Windows 10 PCs have Game Mode enabled by default. Here's what that means---and how to disable it if you have problems.

Game Mode Can Sometimes Cause Problems
Some Windows users have reported that some games actually perform more slowly with Game Mode enabled. It sounds strange, and it certainly shouldn’t work this way—but it sometimes does.
Did try the latest developer build of W11 today, so far it looks promising.
Game Mode now lists all games and apps that it knows about, end user can select power saving or performance for each individual app, it suggests performance for all games on my rig except for Death Stranding, didn't test that game today though, focus was EDO.
So I was flying a bit around, only drops I did notice where in stations related to glass, was better on my end with update 5 than the previous updates though, 1440p SDR everything maxed out, drop down to 60fps from 90.
Else fps was pretty fine, even around settlements and ports on the planet I checked out, not much activity around the settlements I found though, around 100-140.
In space fps maxed completely out, 167fps.
Auto HDR had some bad issues with the game, reported part of it to MS, doubt that their shader will be useful for ED though, debris in space gets a lot of ugly banding and it made the game drops to 30fps when on my way to the ship in a station, was just looking at a floor tile, the same in SDR yields 101fps.
Inside a planets port fps drop was also quite huge with Auto HDR enabled.
There is one noticeable difference for me between EDH and EDO regardless of fps, increased GPU temperature.
Rolled back to my backup of Windows 10, since I will loose to much if I have to go for a clean install later this year.
