I really doubt we will get domestic animals, that would reduce more options for other zoo animals. I dont mind some domesticated ones like dromedary camel.

Domestics literally are zoo animals though. Most zoos have domestics even if they dont have a petting zoo, as they are 1. popular, 2. easy to keep and 3. can also be endangerd with many zoos breeding them for conservation, eventhough besides the kunekune pig most of these breeds are kept rather locally or amongst only a few countrys.
Also i think the word your looking for is exotic, all domestics are domesticated. A dromedary really is just another domestic, just like the yak or guinea pig eventhough many would percieve them as more exotic and therefore more worthy. Domestics really feel like the "guys europe kinda sucks can we pls skip it?" stuff all over again from a year ago

I would also like to throw in that a "domestic" pack could contain picks like the Yak and the helmeted guineafowl, both of which could also be used outside a pure domestic/farm area for bolstering the asian ungulates or african savannah sections.
If Frontier were to go such a route, I'd very much appreciate a domestic pack.

I'm hoping that most of us fall into the middle ground. I don't really care if we do or do not get a petting zoo/farmlands type of pack. But I do recognize that many zoos have this type of section. It's a nice spot to fit a third equid, another goat and/or another sheep and potentially rabbits too. Of course, no one has to buy the pack if they don't like it, either, but I suspect most of us probably will. I think the main concern for those who solidly don't want this type of pack is that it takes up a spot in what's likely a year to year and a half (4-6 packs) left. If we knew that the game had several more years - more than 2 years - to go, the fact we got a petting zoo/farm pack probably wouldn't bother too many people.

I dunno, we'll see. Some animals were hated but now are loved, like the llama and the dingo. Maybe this'll happen. Like, I wasn't too keen on gibbons, but when we got the siamang I loved it

Im honest, while jungle fowl exists in zoos, it would still feel like a wild water buffalo situation. Aslong as the domestic chicken isnt against the theme they could just give us a damn chicken
