Not particularly fascinating since it's so blatantly obvious that the two are not comparable. One is a gaming setup and/or peripheral with a wide range of applications — the other is a jpeg with no clear or concrete utility.
You can justify it how you want. But, at least I know that when SWTOR came out in 2011 it cost me $1200 for a windows laptop. I also realize that VR and ED cost me $2500 when I built a computer to run them.
Edit: That was just the computer. Then I bought VR (returned them, as I’m not a fan) and bought a $1200 monitor (49” Samsung curved gaming monitor). Had my Yeti fall and crack the screen, which was not fixable! Then I bought a $900 Dell Alienware 34” curved gaming monitor.
Acting like I need those types of machines for word, or email is a very big stretch. I don’t need to lie to myself!
