I'm sure your team will appreciate any "data points" we can give them, so here are a couple:
* I always turn off (not standby) my PS4 at the end of a gaming session. When I play ED, it's the first and only application I launch on PS4.
* I can reliably reproduce this bug immediately after starting ED, so it doesn't feel like the typical memory leak that requires a certain amount of time before it triggers.
* The textures that get swapped seem somewhat random - sometimes my holo-me's face looks fine but the chair is low quality, other times the station's "ATC building" looks crappy but the pad looks fine, etc.
* I've encountered low textures on my ship even in the depths of space, where the geometry on the screen is fairly simple. It's a more rare occurrence than complex scenes like a station, but it does happen on occasion.
* I've noticed that the scratchy sound bug I encounter in stations seems to be tied to this bug, as in I only notice it when textures have gone low-quality. However, this may be coincidence.
* My PS4 drives a PC gaming monitor, so it's configured to output full RGB color. This may be irrelevant, but some people are not experiencing this bug (or at least not noticing it), so I'm trying to think of things that might differentiate my (and other bug-seers) PS4 from theirs. There's not too much one can do to 'customize' PS4 settings - we are all basically on the same hardware and OS. Oh, and my PS4 is the Slim, but Pro users also are seeing this problem.
* My PS4 has an SSD instead of the default HDD, but I can't imagine that has anything to do with these bugs (but hey, you never know).
If you're able to reproduce the bug in your own offices, then you probably don't need my help, but there it is just in case
