Requiring a vaccine for hospital entry would certainly fix this problem quick.
Yep, this is the thing, there is no intent or direction behind evolution, just which random mutation happens to be convenient right here and now. While true I would imagine that the counter to that is that there's no particular reason why any specific virus should be in its ideal state. As you say they don't think or plan, so in theory there's no reason why a virus couldn't exist that would wipe out its host and itself in the process. It's not ideal for the virus, but it doesn't care. In the same way a fire doesn't stop and think "hmm, maybe I shouldn't burn the entire house down to the ground as swiftly as possible, because then I'll run out of fuel and then die".
Brazil’s health minister tested positive for the coronavirus Tuesday, just hours after attending the United Nations General Assembly.
Marcelo Queiroga is the second member of President Jair Bolsonaro’s delegation to the United Nations to test positive.
Good luck.My kid (13) was tested twice with a lateral flow test and both came back positive so we're waiting to get him a PCR test soon.
He doesn't live with me but I last saw him on Sunday and he tested positive on Tuesday. I and the other two people in my house have all tested negative so far with lateral flow tests.
It's a waiting game now.

Whataboutery.I believe there are already laws in place regarding shooting people in the face.
.... but still only 1/3 population coverage with available vaccines.HEALTH Minister Terrence Deyalsingh has confirmed local community spread of the highly transmissible delta variant in Trinidad and Tobago.
Lol, what?! For whataboutery, don't I have to be saying "what about..." and then trying to move the focus onto something else? Whereas I just said that the thing you're complaining about is already illegal and no-one (that I'm aware of) is crying out in support of it. "What about the thing itself" doesn't really qualify surely.Whataboutery.

Meanwhile your original point, although I couldn't technically call it whataboutery, was definitely using one thing to focus on something else. There's a bit of a disconnect, both in terms of logic an proportionality, between the two statements in "a man shot another man for being told to wear a mask, therefore nobody should have the right to decide if they want a vaccine."
