The Galactic Mapping Project & Historical Archive of Exploration

Hi guys! I found star systems that are not in the catalog. What should I do in this case?
Nearly every system is not in the catalog. GMP is a catalog of notable systems and is closed for new entries. GEC is an alternative catalog. If you means the system is not present in EDSM or Spansh, then you should upload your data to EDSM and EDDN

This is my Carrier info post, o7

Carrier’s Insignia:
Shield of Meridia Insignia.png
Carrier Name:DSSA Shield of Meridia
Registration:T1Y-T2F
Carrier Class:Victory Class
Designated Region:Perseus Arm
System:Whanu KU-V b17-0
Commission Date (date signed up to the DSSA):March 16th, 3308
Carrier Construction Date:June 9th, 3306
Construction Location:Jaques Station, Colonia
Maiden Jump(s):Katuri for refueling, March 18th, 3308
Ascella for Carrier Administration, March 20th, 3308
Whanu KU-V b17-0 for maiden voyage/deployment, March 22nd, 3308
In-service Date (date the vessel began its DSSA service):March 25th, 3308
Services Available:Repair, Refuel, Armory, Shipyard, Outfitting, Universal Cartographics, Redemption Offices
Tariff % Set:0%
Commodities Bought/Sold on Carrier:- Tritium
Nearest Tritium Hotspot:Whanu KU-V b17-0, planet 1 (Carrier is orbiting said hotspot)
Whanu KU-V b17-0 is a haven for explorers who are far off of the beaten path, probably wondering why they are even there in the first place. It houses the DSSA Shield of Meridia, as well as a Tritium overlap and multiple Void Opal overlaps, a ringed landable planet, and enough materials present on landable planets for basic and standard FSD injections. Nearby Whanu VW-R b19-0 has all the materials for basic, standard and premium FSD injections.

This is what I meant to reply to as I have a proper Carrier Insignia now which I would like to be applied if possible.

Hey Cmdrs. Not sure if its that exciting or where to record these sort of stats, are Canonn interested? Found a body with very wide rings (invisible ) 6ls wide with 5 shepherd moons all inside the inner radius of the outer ring (i think). let me know if i should send this to anyone. Ive got EDMC , canonn plugin running.

There is a shepherd moon post here somewhere but generally if the outer ring is invisible people aren't as excited by the inner moons. It's not all that uncommon. If you are using EDMC your data is being recorded. If you do find an outstanding system then the GEC project is accepting submissions. https://edastro.com/gec

Never mind I see you found GEC.

The DSSA fleet carrier, Miskatonic University, is stationed near the rings of a beautiful Earth-like World that orbits binary class III gas giants.
Description:

Miskatonic%20Uni.png

The DSSA fleet carrier, Miskatonic University, is stationed near the rings of a beautiful Earth-like World that orbits binary class III gas giants.
The system was first discovered during the Minerva Centaurus Expedition.

In addition to the aforementioned worlds, the system hosts a ringed Class III gas giant with ten moons, two of which are nested moons. Three of these bodies have surface geological activity, in the form of Major Silicate Vapour Geysers, which can be a good source of materials.
Three other moons have a variety of biological species, including the valuable Frutexa Flammasis, samples of which can be sold at Vista Genomics (including on the local carrier) for 10 million credits.

Originally the system was served by the DSSA #159 "The Late Show", which was deployed on May 31st 3308. The carrier was decommissioned on the 19th May 3310, and soon after, a carrier from the centuries old Earth institution, the Miskatonic University, was pressed into service.

Byae%20Aowsy%20GR-N%20d6-52_(3)_Miskatonic%20Uni_00008.png

The carrier provides all services mandated by the DSSA, as well as a bar, and provides views of the Earth-like World and its rings from the bridge and the bar area.
The carrier has suffered from very poor ratings on ShipAdvisor mainly due to poor hygienic practices and the crew who are reported to be uncommunicative, or gutteral at best, and have what has been described as a characteristic "Innsmouth look".

That Innsmouth Look

Is there a manner to identify nearby Landable atmospheric planets?
Video clip making . . .

Umm, look in the system map? They are marked clearly. Not sure exactly what you are asking here, maybe clarify a bit on what you are after exactly because everything that you want seems to be right there in the system map.
