I like Valheim too. I'll go check with Iron Gate if they feel they could take on Elite as a project and deliver a product that's "worth fixing" as the basic low bar we're discussing here. I'm sure it'll be a cinch given they're basically the same type of game and definitely worth using as an example of how EDO could be better.
Careful now if you don't 100% agree with OP he mutes you.
I think that happened months ago when he posted about how bad the AI was because it shot him after he killed its friends.
Edit: And none of this is for his benefit, it's for the rest of us inhumane.

It's hard to have a discussion on the topic at hand when 90% of OP's replies are I'm muting you because you don't agree with me.
While that might not be a terrible idea, it would just leave open the opportunity for a similar topic to be created, completing the circle of strife...
