X52pro help!
My button 1 (trigger stopped working mid game - Alpha 4!), I looked in the control panel for the stick and it wont register there either :(

I do here the normal click at the end of its travel, but it is no longer registering.

Anyone come across this before? Any tips?

X52 Wizards! Need pointers

Here is the issue, and am wondering how to acheive / program:

I have the throttle set to full travel in game - IE throttle set at 50% = zero, less is reverse, more is forward.

What I would like to do is to set the 0 speed point at the reverse thruster hard point on the throttle (physical indent about 1/10th of the way from start on the throttle arm - or about 10% of the full travel), with forward thrust from that point on, and reverse thrust from that point back.

I am certain that this requires some fiddling with the SST software, but am unsure on how to go about it. Since the program does not permit to move the centre point, do I then need to change the programming to bands, and then assign a keyboard key to each? Is there a way to pass on the analog position top Elite with a compressed, or shifted zero point?

Thanks much in advance for any help provided!

I'm looking to buy a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 (red), or Saitek Cyborg EVO Force Feedback. UK or EU.

Am keen to experience force feedback, so if anyone has a MS (red) they would like to sell, or the Siatek do please contact me.

Looking for a force feedback stick

I'm looking to buy a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 (red), or Saitek Cyborg EVO Force Feedback. UK or EU.

Am keen to experience force feedback.

So if anyone has a MS (red or normal edition) they would like to sell, or the Siatek do please contact me. Or maybe could buy for me in US or some EU market I cannot bid in, this would be doing me a solid.

I've been trying to buy one on ebay and have been outbid on the last 8 UK/EU Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2's. I'm keen to try force feedback with one of these, and maybe even mod the stick to have more hats. Like here: LINK (might be a CH flightstick used on a Force Feedback 2). Or ask and pay someone to do it for me because I'm no good at that sort of thing.

MadCatz have asked me to return it to Amazon, who of course have no replacements.

Stuck without a stick :(

ch hotas help

hello, I am playing the combat trial and my brand new CH hotas set up is not detecting correctly.

could anyone give me any pointers the joystick on the throttle seem to be copying the main stick and do I need to run it in mapped mode ?

sorry if this has been covered before

If you're currently playing the Beta single combat demo (aka Alpha 1.1), then you're limited to just one USB controller, and the CH throttle and stick are two separate ones.

This will be fixed on 30th May when proper Beta builds turn up, or there are 3rd-party joystick remappers that you could fiddle with to try to get it to work now.

Sorry, no experience of those.

If you have Alpha 1.1, yes, you have to use it in mapped mode for now.

In the CH Control Manager, use the map wizard to create an empty map, just be sure to click "Yes" when it ask you if you want to combine the controllers (second step of the wizard). Save the map, download it, and launch the game.

Do all joystick brands have easy software like that, or is it just CH?
I mean after all the trouble I have been reading about, CH seems the one who addresses this particular problem with astonishing ease.

As far as I know, only CH Products and Thrustmaster have a powerful software associated with their controllers (and if I'm not mistaken, the same person worked on both of them).

I would not call these software "easy" though, they were written in times of prehistoric computers, and follow a logic anchored in the past. But they both works well, and do allow incredible flexibility. I have a slight preference for the CH Products software, which is more integrated and polished.

When buying a new joystick do you feel that the software should play a big part in the decision?
I am still entangled in an excruciating decision process. I just do not know what to buy. At the moment I am torn between two very different beasts the CH fighterstick + throttle and the Saitek X55 Rhino HOTAS.

thanks guys I have it working now in mapped mode, I am glad I got CH...it replaced an aging Saitek 3d evo, and its a different class. wow.

drakmaniso your a star that works

, it gives me another reason to be excited about the beta on the 30th .....

When i use a joystick i will buy the brandnew competition pro 5000 ! I hate the Atari 2600 one, ruined now a few, they just stand nothing.

And all the sticks with the huge levers and 100 buttons , where your whole arm has to be in the air to use them correctly are not for me, i want to play, not dig a grave.

Hi, there. I have the Cyborg Evo Pro and just played all the scenarios with it. I really miss, force feedback. This Joystick is OK.
