Edit: I can't read! Disregard
Hi.
How did you manage that? Can't do any bindings with my logitech extreme 3D pro. Always takes the mouse button...Then I used other presets like the thurstmaster which worked ok till a certain moment. now the ship is just spinning in space...
Make sure you have no other analog(?) game controller (wheel, pedals etc.) connected, multiple controllers (apart from keyboard & mouse in addtition to whatever you use) is not supported in Alpha 1.1.Yes, I have the same joystick and it is of little use. I linked it to the pro they have in their list, forget the make, but it gives a half baked experience, of course. Hopefully they will support the logitech in time otherwise I am using keyboard and mouse.
Hey guys,
I do not use TARGET software, and play DCS:A10 which recognizes my HOTAS as is. I want to use this same setup (pedals, stick, throttle) and just bind keys to the inputs and not use TARGET. Is this possible? Is it in future builds?
Thanks in advance!
So I just bought premium beta package... I'm not so worried about every switch mostly the joystick throttle and the little mouse button on the throttle as axis controllers and the. A few buttons. That would be a huge help bu right not I can't bind any commands to the TM In the game and not sure how to calibrate the axis and such...
So am I just not in the right build since it's still alpha?
Will future betas be able to use multiple devices? Will this issue be solved when game is complete?
If it's alpha 1.1 why do they sell it as beta? Very confusing
Yes.
The current alpha build (3.04, called 3.4 to add to the confusion) includes the single player bits in the current release available to the beta backers.
The version with beta players lacks any of the multiplayer code. I think it was given out as a "Thanks for your patience" and "get your eye in" to the beta backers. Rather than strip out the multiplayer stuff FD probably had an old build sitting around that lacked it, and has popped that out to beta peeps.
So, beta backers currently have the old single payer alpha released last December some time.
After 30 May they come up to date and will get beta v1, which looks as if it may bear a striking resemblance to alpha 4 (due out 15 May to alpha people).
That will have the improved multi-input support.
