Best large primate: Lar Gibbon. Was close between Gorilla and the gibbon but I love the gibbons animations so much
Best fox: Red Fox (color patterns are amazing)

Also sorry I haven’t posted the results yet, I was actually at the Toronto zoo today and didn’t have time to. Here they are:

k so I was actually planning this to be the final round however I don’t think there are any groups that have more than 2 animals in them (let me know if I’m wrong). So, I laid this one out a bit different:

Face offs:

Best Wildebeest
Black Wildebeest vs Blue Wildebeest

Best Tapir (can’t wait to read these answers lol)
Bairds Tapir vs Malayan Tapir

Best Tiger
Bengal Tiger vs Siberian Tiger

Best Gazelle
Dama Gazelle vs Thompson Gazelle

Best Camel
Dromedary Camel vs Bactrian Camel

Last day to vote is the 19th with the results posted on the 20th. After that we have one more round of faceoffs (hopefully) then one more solo award.

Best wildebeest: Blue wildebeest (looks better, more common in captivity, and it's the iconic wildebeest)
Best tapir: Baird's tapir (lol, lmao)
Best tiger: Siberian tiger (looks slightly better, far more common in captivity in reputable zoos)
Best gazelle: Dama gazelle
Best camel: Dromedary camel

You never did a best dog category or a best miscellaneous animal for the other animals that don’t fit in categories (pangolin, platypus, meerkat, aardvark) also best savanna animal (can include past antelopes/ ungulates and giraffes/ elephants and such). Best Xenarthan (sloth, anteater, armadillo) best camelid could’ve include llama), best hippo

Best hippo will be in part 2 of the face offs, can’t do a biome themed since the awards are class based. I will do a dog category, wildcard/oddball award and a xenarthan award, thanks for the ideas!

Black Wildebeest - has an amazing conservation story and looks just more appealing to me. I was shocked how tiny they are in the real life.

Best Tapir (can’t wait to read these answers lol)
Bairds Tapir - is great but Malayan tapir could be even better. Frontier I beg you, please fix Malayan tapir in the next update once and for all.

Bengal Tiger - I love them and keep them in my every zoo.

Best Gazelle
Dama Gazelle - far more interesting in every way.

Best Camel
Dromedary Camel - masterpiece

    • Blue Wildebeest: great model and love the golden variant
  • Tapir
    • Baird's Tapir: I wish I could say Malayan though. Please fix him!
  • Tiger
    • Bengal Tiger: I know they've fallen out of favor in a bunch of zoos, but I've seen so many of them and they're THE white tiger. I'm glad they are in the game.
  • Gazelle
    • Thomson's Gazelle: I was so sad it was passed over for the springbok until I found out it would come in the deluxe pack. It was my favorite from that pack.
  • Camel
    • Dromedary: main zoo camel and I love the variants. This model is awesome.

Err ya missed canid categories, camelids, bears,
Could have done a southern hemisphere canids and a northern hemisphere canids
Some kind of category separating our bear species
