Best wolf: Timber wolf (worse model but far more flexible for theming, plus colors)
Best hyena: Striped hyena

Best Elephant: Indian Elephant (they offer more variety of biomes, can be mixed with more species, and need less space)

Best Hippo: pigmy hippopotamus (the other's space requirements are absurdly big)

Best Oryx: Gemsbok (I simply like their colour better)

Best Wolf: Arctic Wolf (I play in Spanish and the timber wolf has a wrong translation so it annoys me a lot)

Best Hyena: Striped Hyena (their model looks better)

I have had more success with Indian elephants than African. Pigmy hippos work out well for me, while basic hippos require too much land and water to the point that I can never get them right. I find the gemsbok more appealing. Love both wolves but I like having Ghost in my zoos. Never liked hyenas, wasn’t excited when stripes were announced, put them in my zoos and found them to be very appealing and I use them a lot now.

Best Wildcard
Nominees include Platypus, Aardvark, Binturong, Chinese Pangolin, Fossa, Giant Anteater, Meerkat, Nine Banded Armadillo and Reticulated Giraffe.

I will make an exception for best wildcard, you are allowed to pick 2 as your favourite.

Best Walkthrough Exhibit Animal
Nominees include the Egyptian Flying Fruit Bat, Butterflies and the Brown Throated Sloth.

This one is tough... I pick Fossa and Giant Anteater. Fossa has grown on me so much, it's such a cool and amazing animal. Giant Anteater is awesome too as well

I like both bat and butterflies, but I'll go with butterflies, butterflies make the game feels more lively and realistic
