Okay here’s the plan: (maybe)

We start wity trying to incorporate the winners from the first round of voting into a single build. Then people make their submissions and post pictures of them here for voting. After a certain date we will vote on which is the best. Continue for the second round of animal voting and so on and so forth.

I like the idea but we only have average 15-20 people participating in the award votings, we would need to narrow down the animal choices left to 4 or 5. Plus the point of the awards was to find the best animal, not the best build for that animal. I like it as a bonus round but it can’t effect the actual awards.

This is kinda what I was thinking. Like as an extra round to keep us occupied until the announcement. The challenge would be to fit the animals into s theme with each other.

Here’s what I’ll do, there are 27 award winners. I’ll split them up into 3 groups of 9. We’ll try to narrow each group down to 1 until we have the final 3. We’ll see how much we can get done before the next pack gets released, I’ll start it tomorrow cause half the day is already gone.

Alright here we go!
Playoffs Round 1

Choose 4 of the following that are your favourites. The 3 species with the least amount of votes will be removed from the competition.

African Savanna Elephant
Pygmy Hippo
Lar Gibbon
Asian Small Clawed Otter
African Crested Porcupine
Southern White Rhino
Red River Hog
Przewalski’s Horse
Colombian White Faced Capuchin
Arctic Wolf

Results will be posted in 3 days (September 2nd). Side note, the blue wildebeest will not be included in the playoffs. It gets an advance because it was the only one to get 2 awards. It advances to the top 21 immediately. Also the groups are chosen by random.

African Savannah Elephant (an intelligent and loyal animal that is iconic part of megafauna)
Wild Horse (in honor of domestic horses and their beautiful majesticness)
Porcupine (I am pleased with how well Frontier pulled this cool animal off)
Arctic Wolf (Majestic creature and I don't think it has a chance... So I wanted to give it a vote)
