I'm actually (sorta) out that way at the moment, might have to log in for a bit and check it out. From a safe distance of course in my Explorasp.Heres one for you, the new spinning wheel of death that is coming for us currently can be listened to through the FSS from anywhere within around a 2k ly radius (Not confirmed further but I can do it 2kly out) what if Raxxla could be "listened to" also as a way to locate, this was proposed in the past with the sound of Sag A and other fss noises.
Here be the wheel ;-) also what if the Dark wheel station is the old Thargoid station (its going to be like a round wheel if Thargoid designed) from the older Elite game in Polaris and they are using that to travel far distances to try find Raxxla ;-)
My old site - getting a bit stale now, but glad you found it useful. any constructive feedback welcome.Found this blog yesterday, contains many interesting pages about Raxxla and The Dark Wheel

A Vagabond's Yearning
These pages record my search for information leading to Raxxla, Soonthill and the Dark Wheel. Current status: Yelboc has officially retired, though its proving a hard habit to kick :-) __________ Heaven sent the promised landLooks alright from where I stand'Cause I'm the man on the outside...vagabondsofraxxla.wordpress.com
Ha - nice dusty old books… Wonder if he has this one.Hey @Rochester look what MB just acquired... View attachment 320822
OK, so I no longer see "Comet" in game, but only in the journal files. Confirmed as Alpha Cygni Comets 1,2,3.When you select any system “signal” from Pyroboros’ spreadsheet it is identified on the star background as “systemname” [Threat 0], you then need to fly out to its position and drop into it. It then appears in the journal as “systemname comet Xx”. You then select the next “signal” and repeat until all bodyids are known and the final one crashes the game. So you have three comets there!
Mmm. Might be interesting, having identified a “comet”, to try fss scanning it?!
Very good analysis, I think you're right about the public TDW, it must be impostors. My old site - getting a bit stale now, but glad you found it useful. any constructive feedback welcome.
Or a bowl of petunias?I bet you it sounds like whales...
could be either forehead or eyebrow!Very good analysis, I think you're right about the public TDW, it must be impostors.
My current theory is that it is impossible to find Raxxla directly. We have to go through TDW, and with hints from them (or possibly with a relic in their possession that "open one's eyes"). TDW, they could be findable, but it's probably useless (either no interaction, or swarm of very high profile NPC). We may have to make ourselves worthy to be contacted, like those ancient adventurers.
It is hinted that they were treasure seekers, explorators. Combat isn't mentioned at all. Exploration might be the key. Maybe visit enough sectors of the galaxy? Half? All?
Besides, I have a question. I'm not a native english speaker and I can't find the correct meaning for "on the brow of the mother of galaxies".
It is often translated as "on the forehead". But "brow" could also be a singular for "eye-brows".
"forehead" => something central
"eye-brow" => something peripheral, possibly rounded
How do you understand it?
RAXXLA: The connection between matter and spirit. These letters stand for material, money, power, ambition, strength, intelligence and courage. But it also represents pride, intolerance, domination and impulsiveness.
This is what i always though "The Whisper in witch space" meant but FSS is a very time consuming thing when you have 0% idea on where to point it lolHeres one for you, the new spinning wheel of death that is coming for us currently can be listened to through the FSS from anywhere within around a 2k ly radius (Not confirmed further but I can do it 2kly out) what if Raxxla could be "listened to" also as a way to locate, this was proposed in the past with the sound of Sag A and other fss noises.

It’s poetic license, can mean anything, it’s interchangeable, something don’t believe FD countered for, it’s interpretation into another language.Very good analysis, I think you're right about the public TDW, it must be impostors.

So many feasible interpretations is why we’re still looking! It’s poetic license, can mean anything, it’s interchangeable, something don’t believe FD countered for, it’s interpretation into another language.
Brow could be associated with a face true, but also the cusp of a hill, or a very large object.
Mother of galaxies is the same, there are multiple historical as well as literal interpretations to choose from.
CoolSo many feasible interpretations is why we’re still looking!
I thought of another hypothesis last night that addresses the toast, MB’s utterances, and part of the logo...
Started to investigate!
