Hey @Rochester look what MB just acquired...

Heres one for you, the new spinning wheel of death that is coming for us currently can be listened to through the FSS from anywhere within around a 2k ly radius (Not confirmed further but I can do it 2kly out) what if Raxxla could be "listened to" also as a way to locate, this was proposed in the past with the sound of Sag A and other fss noises.

Here be the wheel ;-) also what if the Dark wheel station is the old Thargoid station (its going to be like a round wheel if Thargoid designed) from the older Elite game in Polaris and they are using that to travel far distances to try find Raxxla ;-)
I'm actually (sorta) out that way at the moment, might have to log in for a bit and check it out. From a safe distance of course in my Explorasp.

Found this blog yesterday, contains many interesting pages about Raxxla and The Dark Wheel
My old site - getting a bit stale now, but glad you found it useful. any constructive feedback welcome.

When you select any system “signal” from Pyroboros’ spreadsheet it is identified on the star background as “systemname” [Threat 0], you then need to fly out to its position and drop into it. It then appears in the journal as “systemname comet Xx”. You then select the next “signal” and repeat until all bodyids are known and the final one crashes the game. So you have three comets there!

Mmm. Might be interesting, having identified a “comet”, to try fss scanning it?!
OK, so I no longer see "Comet" in game, but only in the journal files. Confirmed as Alpha Cygni Comets 1,2,3.
FSS scanning is possible, but the signal is visible in FSS only while it is targeted. No info, and some clackediclack sound, a bit like an asteroid cluster, but a lot more subdued.

Very good analysis, I think you're right about the public TDW, it must be impostors.
My current theory is that it is impossible to find Raxxla directly. We have to go through TDW, and with hints from them (or possibly with a relic in their possession that "open one's eyes"). TDW, they could be findable, but it's probably useless (either no interaction, or swarm of very high profile NPC). We may have to make ourselves worthy to be contacted, like those ancient adventurers.
It is hinted that they were treasure seekers, explorators. Combat isn't mentioned at all. Exploration might be the key. Maybe visit enough sectors of the galaxy? Half? All?

Besides, I have a question. I'm not a native english speaker and I can't find the correct meaning for "on the brow of the mother of galaxies".
It is often translated as "on the forehead". But "brow" could also be a singular for "eye-brows".
"forehead" => something central
"eye-brow" => something peripheral, possibly rounded
How do you understand it?

could be either forehead or eyebrow!
English is not an exact language!! ;)

I don't know if this has been posted in 1357 pages so here goes.

RAXXLA (All upper case).

RAXXLA: The connection between matter and spirit. These letters stand for material, money, power, ambition, strength, intelligence and courage. But it also represents pride, intolerance, domination and impulsiveness.

RAXXLA is an esoteric word relating to numerology and there is also some cosmos and planetary info included. At first I thought this might be to do with Roman numerals but there is no Roman number represented by R or A.

Big long article here:

http://www.whatmeanings.com/22/meaning-of/raxxla#:~:text=What%20is%20the%20meaning%20of%20RAXXLA%20numerology%20analysis.,material%2C%20money%2C%20power%2C%20ambition%2C%20strength%2C%20intelligence%20and%20courage.

Here is another link relating to RAXXLA numerology in Gematria format. How you decipher it I don't know.

Well, updated my comet sheet. Spent all day on Placet ...
"A place that isnt a place", cos it's a Placet!!
Took a long time...85 bodyids, 24 of which were comets, and to add insult to injury (my hands are definitely hurting!) no nav beacon and, presumably because I'd visited before the FSS didnt populate the journal file, so I had to track dwon each of those 84 signals manually!

edit: I've gone off comets!!

This is what i always though "The Whisper in witch space" meant but FSS is a very time consuming thing when you have 0% idea on where to point it lol

Ive been out of the game for 2 years trying to read up all on these posts is killing me, and so far it appears all we Truly have is the Dark Wheel Toast to go on for sure lol.

It’s poetic license, can mean anything, it’s interchangeable, something don’t believe FD countered for, it’s interpretation into another language.

Brow could be associated with a face true, but also the cusp of a hill, or a very large object.

Mother of galaxies is the same, there are multiple historical as well as literal interpretations to choose from.

So many feasible interpretations is why we’re still looking!

I thought of another hypothesis last night that addresses the toast, MB’s utterances, and part of the logo...
Started to investigate!

Well look what I found - didn't show up in Horizons, restarted in Odyssey and bam, there it was. Glad the narrative will continue in both versions for 4.0....

Edit: Oh man and a crapload of USS...
Edit2: and it does sound like whales in the FSS...
Edit3: All Degraded Emissions Threat Level 0
