Funnily enough, I have noticed some strange behaviour in NS in binary systems recently.

Edit - If any of the brave explorers or super cleaver scientists in this thread have any ideas about this thread, they would be appreciated. If the jewl is an NS (which has been my theory for a while), then understanding this could help narrow things down a bit.

IF Raxxla is a NS, that spiraling star., jewel that burns.. How could there be people on it ?
Or should we consider this as retconned and Raxxla no longer being a planet ?
Or the jewel is the main star of the system which contains planet Raxxla ?
But then, "To the jewel..." and "To Raxxla..." wouldn't match pretty well, would they?

Raxxla is the small planet in the Lagrange point, between the two NS. It's a dynamo. :geek:

It just a matter of time before some one finds it and the rush will be on to get there. However, it will more than likely be locked. Which means the years of searching will be over, but now begins years of trying to figure out how to unlock it.

That's why Sirius corporation settled on Lucifer. The close orbit around Sirius B (white dwarf) lett them harness energy, by wrapping coils around the planet.

At least that is what the old lore says. 🤨

Well, with my theory on the clues pointing to Venus, and after the Devil's Dance Floor not having Raxxla anywhere to be seen, when I get back to the bubble, I was going to get my SRV out and scour Lucifer, looking for an omphalos rift. I cant think of any other morning star/lucifer/devil references in game, unless anyone lese has any ideas?

wasn't that the planet in Sirius system? covered in cables in gather the energy?
Would make sense, Sirius Inc are definitely twisted! Occupied by powerful men using its power to control humanity!

LP 542-33 is weird double D star ...also 2nd one has name LP 542-32 i.e. both have personal names.... no planets, only 2 stations. And you land to 2nd star ...1st on system map appears far away.

Mmmh.. Right. So Raxxla would be in a locked sector. Get the permit to unlock that whole sector (never seen that in ED..) and then... look for Raxxla, in that whole sector.

That's the way I'd do it.
Get the invite to TDW (locked system near Bubble), then they hack you a sector permit for the area they think Raxxla is in, then you go find it.

Not sure if there are individual locked systems out in the black, but they'd be tricky to find.

I wouldn't try tying the PF locks to things lore-wise - they're a game mechanic more than anything.

Would that be possible, in software terms, that only one player who has concluded the journey has Raxxla appearing in his own instance, but others don't ?
