Project Status:

Greetings CMDRs! I was expecting to announce TDW’s next expansion (we did have Baker at >75% for two ticks after all) but it looks like the BGS server was asleep for that. Not to worry, we can just push the INF for TDW there and make it go over 75% again! We also have a decent list of conflicts to shepherd and only a few systems that could use a housekeeping pass. All in all, it’s another great week to be in TDW space. See you out there, and as always, have fun!

Items of note:
Baker - Keep the push for INF going! We will force this system to let TDW expand! While there, help Baker Confederacy in their election

Eme - TDW is getting too high here, no more work here, if there is a conflict, we want to lose that one

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)
Lave 10.4% - this was a fairly substantial drop
86 Mu Herculis 35.3%
Hrimfaxi 38.2%
Wolf 629 34.8%

Turning the Wheel remains in the final planned phase of the project. Our primary goals during this phase are to maintain the systems that The Dark Wheel controls for BGS stability and to expand TDW into neighboring systems. If a new system is free from other PMFs and/or PP issues, TDW will take ownership. If other PMFs occupy the system, we will seek an agreement to allow TDW to stay, be friendly, and not attempt to take control of the system. This is the “good neighbor” policy that has worked very well for the project thus far. TDW being present in many systems is in opposition to what the codex entry says. As TDW grows it is hoped that this will trigger “something” with respect to Felicity Farseer’s quote in the codex entry.

Above all, we continue Turning the Wheel for the camaraderie that working together for a common goal brings.

As always, if something pops up that “looks odd” see the General Remarks.

Please remember:
  • Do NOT work for other factions in TDW systems, unless requested below.
  • Do NOT hand in trade goods or cartography data to stations that we do not own.
  • Do NOT hand in bounties for any faction other than TDW in our systems.

Possible Next Expansion Trigger System:
TDW Missions for INF, Cartography Data and Trade Profits at TDW controlled stations, and Bounty Voucher turn ins are desired at:
  • Baker - Push TDW for expansion
  • Optional - Turdetani. Keep TDW at 60-65% for a future expansion after our operations in Baker conclude. This has dropped significantly but is non urgent.

Conflicts:
Arque Elections - Support TDW 0-2
Baker Elections - Support Baker Confederacy 0-0 (pending)
Chontantici Elections - Support TDW 0-0
LHS 2429 Elections - Support TDW 0-0 (pending)
LHS 397 Elections - Support Sol Workers' Party W1 0-0
Ross 1015 War - Support TDW 1-1
Ross 154 War - Support Barnard's Star Advanced Corp 0-1
Santy Elections - Support LTT 7509 Ltd 1-2

Bounty Hunting:
Bounty hunting in any of our controlled systems (9 PUPPIS and/or ANYANWU Compromised Nav Beacons and/or Resource Extraction Sites in TDW controlled systems are great places to go).
Turn in TDW bounty vouchers earned in these locations:
  • Baker
  • 86 Mu Herculis, Hrimfaxi, Wolf 629 as priority
  • Any other TDW controlled systems where we are below 50%

General Missions & Passengers:
Note: Work Missions for INF in the following systems for the given faction
  • HR 4979 - Alliance of CD-33 8748 lost the conflict here, a few missions will fix, target 8%
  • LFT 926 - Less urgent but could do with some more work to get CIA back to #2
  • Keep an eye out for any non-natives getting too low in systems we control
Any TDW controlled system with less than 50% inf are good candidates to do TDW missions in

Commodity Trading AND/OR Exploration Data:
Trade and Cartographic data into TDW owned stations in the following systems:
(Any TDW station in systems where our influence is between 30 and 50%)
  • Baker - White Rose (All pads)
  • 86 Mu Herculis - Scheutz Hub OR Gauss Platform (both medium pads)
  • Hrimfaxi - Blackwell City (All pads)
  • Wolf 629 - Gillekens Refinery (medium pads)
  • Any TDW controlled system with less than 50% inf are good candidates

Preferred #2 non-native factions for long term stability:

ANYANWU - Alliance of LTT 5419
HR 4979 - Alliance of CD-33 8748
LHS 397 - Sol Workers' Party
LTT 5455 - Leaders of LHS 369
SANTY - Luyten 347-14 Confederation
WOLF 629 - Hutton Orbital Truckers Co-operative

General Remarks:
Where TDW is a guest, we want to be above the natives, ideally not conflicting with other player factions, and never in conflict with the controlling faction. 15-20% INF is preferred.
  • ARQUE - TDW is a guest of Alliance Rapid-reaction Corps, no work required here
  • CHARONIUM - TDW is a guest of LSR
  • CHONTANTICI - TDW is a guest of Wolf 406 Transport & Co (AEDC)

  • JAUNERA - TDW is a guest of Delta Squadron and is preferred for the #2 slot
  • LAVE - TDW is a guest of Lave Radio Network
  • LHS 369 - TDW is a guest of Hudson PowerPlay
  • LHS 1857 - TDW is a guest of Flotta Stellare
  • LHS 417 - TDW is a guest of Blood Brothers from Alrai
  • LP 787-52 - TDW is a guest of Minutemen and is preferred for the #2 slot
  • ROSS 1015 - TDW is a guest of Terran Colonial Forces
  • SOKOJI - TDW is a guest of Wolf 406 Transport & Co (AEDC)
  • USIREN - TDW is a guest of Wolf 406 Transport & Co (AEDC)
  • WOLF 433 - TDW is a guest of LHS 2541 Alliance Combine (AEDC)
  • When factions in a TDW system are in conflict, we want the native faction (N by their name in Inara) to LOSE. We can ignore conflicts between two native factions.
  • We want non-native factions above native factions to avoid invasions. When factions are above 7% influence and own an asset, conflicts can occur. Keep a few % between non-natives to prevent this.

Please continue to use EDMC or similar tools to keep local data up to date.

Hello Commanders! We have our expansion out of Baker. We should fill the hole in Lopu Maris in about 12 more days. We have a conflict for control over in Wolf 629 and there seems to be a significant level of traffic so expect opposition. All the rest is the usual housekeeping and conflicts to deal with.

Items of note:

Wolf 629 - Elections for system control. Win this one decisively!

Greetings CMDRs! This week brings us the continued expansion clock out of Baker, which leaves us plenty of time to address the laundry list of conflicts that have popped up over the weekend. Most all of them should be easy to get the one point ahead for the win. Housekeeping wise, there are a few TDW systems that could really use it, a few missions here and there really go a long way in most of our tiny systems. All in all, things are looking good in TDW space, hope to see you all out there!

Items of note:
Eme - TDW is a bit high and too close to the controlling faction, no work here

Hello Commanders! Miss Crypto is back, keeping me on task writing up the orders without too many distractions. After a few weeks where things were quiet, we now have lots of conflicts to nurse. A couple of them are going the wrong way. Most TDW housekeeping issues are manageable, but still some need further work.

Items of note:

Arque - ignore the TDW conflict here.
Baker - We want to remain high for another expansion. We will take a ~15% hit on expansion day so expect to go down in the short term. Build it back up!

Santy - Ignore the TDW conflict here. AD powerplayers are putting their favored faction in control and we will remain at #2.

Greetings CMDRs! The expansion from Baker has landed TDW into the open slot in Lopu Maris! As always, the good neighbor policy is in effect and EIC are happy to have us there. Should make for a nice fun week in TDW space. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Hello Commanders! Well done in handling our low influence systems - we only have two remaining on my radar. We do have a bunch of conflicts to nudge in the right direction and a bit of a mess to sort out in Baker before we can kick off another expansion from there.

Items of note:
Baker - We do want to expand out of here as soon as we can but there are conflicts tying up a bunch of influence. Both conflicts we normally wouldn't care which side wins as all are native factions. In the election, support Baker Confederacy. In the civil war, support Baker Nationalists. They are currently losing 1-2 but the opposition has an infrastructure failure draining their influence and we can take advantage of this.

Ross 1015 - War here again, win this one then some boosting for TDW afterwards to avoid another one. We are winning 3-0.

Yuqui - TDW has dropped significantly to 40.3%. Boost us up here to the high 50’s for a future expansion as an alternative to Turdetani.

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)
Phra Lak 46.9%
Yuqui 40.3%

  • Baker - boost TDW for another expansion after repairing the conflicts
  • Optional - Turdetani - Keep TDW at 60-65% for a future expansion after our operations in Baker conclude

Greetings CMDRs! I hope everyone is enjoying the annual spooky season. Fantastic job handling most all of the items from the weekend! We have a few systems needing guiding hands in terms of conflicts and housekeeping, but nothing terrifically eyebrow raising. Baker is getting sorts as those conflicts are running their course, so we should be able to get good gains there in the next couple of days. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
Baker - We do want to expand out of here as soon as we can but there are conflicts tying up a bunch of influence. Down to only one here and soon we will have all the INF available to push into TDW

9 Puppis - Hlocidirus Resistance 4.3% - still low from the weekend, retreat risk if unchecked

Lopu Maris - TDW 4.6% - a bit low due to EIC expansion push, target 5.5% max, should only need a few missions

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)
Anyanwu 38.1%

Hello again Commanders! Miss Crypto did most of the analysis this time all on her own while I fought off some RL dragons. Highlights include an expected expansion out of Baker - we are over 78% though it wasn’t showing pending expansion just yet. There are a couple of systems where a non-native faction is a bit too low and a little work needed in Turdetani and Yuqui.

Items of note:
Baker - Almost certainly we are on the hidden pending day of a new expansion. A hole has recently opened up in Isleta, so we are likely to arrive there.

9 Puppis - Hlocidirus Resistance 3.6% - Continued to drop, in danger of retreat

Chontantici - War TDW 2-1 up. Win this one by only a single day as the opposition are suffering an Infrastructure Failure state and might end up a retreat risk if TDW wins too handily.

Ross 154 - BSAC down to 5.8% needs a few missions.

Turdetani - War here is going against Terra-EX 0-2. It doesn't really matter if they win, but a close result (W1) is best. Turdetani and Yuqui are both possible TDW expansion systems once we finally get done with the Baker region.

Greetings CMDRs! TDW space is looking mighty fine coming out of the weekend! We have a number of conflicts to shepherd, but all of them are for our non-natives in TDW space. There is only one eyebrow raiser needing a tiny bit of mission work. Looking ahead we have an expansion out of Baker, and the items of note are mostly some magic 8 ball predictions for the “get ahead” list. All in all, it’s another great week in TDW space! Have fun out there!

Items of note:
Baker - Expansion underway. Likely to send TDW to the open slot in Isleta

Chontantici - Expecting another conflict here soon, win for TDW

Eme - TDW a bit low, but only worth watching, expecting conflicts here after the current ones shake out

LHS 397 - Sol Workers' Party 3.9% Retreat risk, need a couple of missions

Lopu Maris - TDW is 6.6% here, if we fall to below 5.5%, then nudge back to about 7%

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)

Project Status:
Hello Commanders! There are a couple of conflicts getting away from us and a handful of systems needing some general TLC but on the whole things are going well in TDW space as we wait out our expansion.

Items of note:
Baker - Expansion underway. Likely to send TDW to the open slot in Isleta

Chontantici - Expected conflict now here, win for TDW 0-0
Arque - ignore the conflict there.

Lopu Maris - TDW is 5.9% here, if we fall to below 5.5%, then nudge back to about 7%

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)
Lave (10.2%), Anyanwu (44.3%), LHS 397 (46.5%), Wolf 629 (44.9%), Yuqui (48.5%)

  • None for now, Baker is in expansion
  • Optional - Turdetani - Keep TDW at 60-65% for a future expansion after our operations in Baker conclude

Conflicts:
BD-18 3106 Elections - Support LHS 2335 Group 1-2
Chontantici War - Support TDW 0-0

Greetings CMDRs! Great job fixing most of the issues that came up over the weekend! We have a couple of TDW conflicts to make sure we win as well as a few others to shepherd. The conflicts that went the wrong way have generated some light “fix it” work, but that should be very quick to knock off the list. As always, scroll on down and see what you would like to put your time to. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
Baker - Expansion underway. Likely to send TDW to the open slot in Isleta

Arque - Ignore the conflict there

- BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group 3.8% - Conflict loss, retreat risk, need some work to get back to ~7%

Eme - TDW 7.8% - Small slip here, a few mission will get us in conflict for the #2 spot

Phra Lak - Elections Support Usiren Free -- Retreat risk on loss

Ross 1015 War - Support TDW, currently tied 2-2

Turdetani - FReCo and Terra-Ex need some love, target around 6% for each to keep them out of risking retreat

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)

Hello Commanders! Our expansion landed us in LHS 336 instead of Isleta. This was a little surprising but I never bothered looking too hard for competing expansions. LHS 336 is a better destination for us anyway. There are the usual selection of conflicts and housekeeping to do but nothing particularly important.

Items of note:
Baker - Expansion completed. We have a war soaking up a lot of influence that could otherwise be used for expanding TDW again. Support Baker Confederacy 0-0 to free this up as quickly as possible.

Turdetani - FReCo and Terra-Ex both involved in elections. Let them win by one day each, currently 1-0 each.

Greetings CMDRs! TDW caught an expansion out of HR 4979 which looks to fill an open slot in LTT 5131 which is a system controlled by our allies at Terra Ex. TDW space has a few conflicts and only a couple of troublemaker systems, all look like they will be easily handled which will leave plenty of time to finish up the current mining community goal! Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
Baker - Build INF and hold in preparation for an expansion after HR 4797 is done

Eme Elections - Support TDW 3-2, other side getting unwanted points

Turdetani - Terra-Ex to win (currently 2-0) will fix FreCo afterwards

Hello Commanders! The expansion out of HR 4979 has just moved into its active phase. We should arrive in LTT 5131 around Tuesday. I’ve taken a look around and do not see any competing expansions this time. Elsewhere in TDW space we have a few conflicts going the wrong way but nothing too major to worry about.

Items of note:
Baker - Sustain us above 70% until the active expansion is over ready for the next one!

Conflicts in Domotwa, Arque and Wolf 433 are going the wrong direction. Support TDW there.

BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group is down to 4.8%. Bump them up to above 7%

  • When factions in a TDW system are in conflict, we want the native faction (N by their name in Inara) to LOSE. We can ignore conflicts between two native factions.
  • We want non-native factions above native factions to avoid invasions. When factions are above 7% influence and own an asset, conflicts can occur. Keep a few % between non-natives to prevent this.

Greetings CMDRs! The expansion out of HR 4979 is nearing completion and looks to still put TDW in LTT 5131 as the closest with an open slot on/about Tuesday. Be sure to give our allies in TEAC a wave when you see them there. Fantastic job turning around those conflicts! We have a few to handle this week, but all should be easy times. We do have quite the list of housekeeping around TDW space, looking at the systems in particular, none should take anywhere near herculean efforts to fix, just a few missions here and there over the next coming days should to more than suffice. I have included a highlight list immediately below this paragraph, but do scroll down to see all the different things TDW space has on offer for the week. Have fun out there!

Items of note:
- Baker - Sustain us above 70% until the active expansion is over ready for the next one!

  • Anyanwu - Aegilips Co 4.7% - Retreat Risk. A mission or two will keep then out of trouble
  • Arque - TDW is at 5.7%, a few missions will take care of that low number
  • BD-18 3106 - LHS 2335 Group is down to 4.8%. Retreat Risk. Bump them up to above 7%
  • LP 787-52 - TDW is at 7.1%, a few missions will take care of that
  • Santy - TDW is way too high here, if a conflict with Luyten 347-14 Confederation occurs, we want TDW to lose and remain in the #2 spot

Systems for TLC: (Boost TDW in the following systems)
9 Puppis 39.1%, Turdetani 48.6%

Project Status:
Hello Commanders! For the Thursday update, we have the usual selection of conflicts to sort out and a few housekeeping tasks to keep us busy. Most of the conflicts only need to be won by 1 day so it should be pretty easy. Baker however is a mess, so expanding again from there will take a bit of work. As predicted our expansion dropped us into LTT 5131 with our friends Terra-Ex Astro Corp. We will want to win the current conflict and take up second spot here.
Miss Crypto and I will be back for Sunday’s update while Wolfdragon takes a groundside holiday.

Items of note:
- Baker - We have had our influence tanked sharply in the last few days and a bunch of conflicts are tying up influence. This will need to be addressed. Fight in the two conflicts in the system, just make sure whichever side is winning wins as fast as possible. Once conflicts are done, work for TDW to get back above 75%

-BD-18 3016 Take this opportunity to boost LHS 2335 Group over the active conflict.
-LHS 397 Sol Workers’ Party has Infrastructure Failure which may put it in risk of retreat. A little work for SWP each day until it clears please!
-Ross 154 BSAC is a retreat risk at 3.1%.

TDW TLC systems include:
LFT 926 - 43.9% before tick. Get us back to 55%.
