Project Status:

Greetings CMDRs! The expansion out of LFT 926 is getting to its final days and still looks to be pointing at LHS 346. The one active retreat looks to be mostly handled, but do a mission or two for them to maintain the status quo there. Looking across TDW space, we have a short list of conflicts and only a few systems where TDW needs a little bit of shoring up, but all in all it looks like this week starts on the more relaxed side. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:

LHS 54 - Legion’s Armada are in active retreat at 6.6%. Boost them above 7% and monitor until the retreat state ends

TDW TLC systems:
86 Mu Herculis 39.5%
LHS 397 41.0%

Turning the Wheel remains in the final planned phase of the project. Our primary goals during this phase are to maintain the systems that The Dark Wheel controls for BGS stability and to expand TDW into neighboring systems. If a new system is free from other PMFs and/or PP issues, TDW will take ownership. If other PMFs occupy the system, we will seek an agreement to allow TDW to stay, be friendly, and not attempt to take control of the system. This is the “good neighbor” policy that has worked very well for the project thus far. TDW being present in many systems is in opposition to what the codex entry says. As TDW grows it is hoped that this will trigger “something” with respect to Felicity Farseer’s quote in the codex entry.

Above all, we continue Turning the Wheel for the camaraderie that working together for a common goal brings.

As always, if something pops up that “looks odd” see the General Remarks.

Please remember:
  • Do NOT work for other factions in TDW systems, unless requested below.
  • Do NOT hand in trade goods or cartography data to stations that we do not own.
  • Do NOT hand in bounties for any faction other than TDW in our systems.

Possible Next Expansion Trigger System:
TDW Missions for INF, Cartography Data and Trade Profits at TDW controlled stations, and Bounty Voucher turn ins are desired at:
  • Build Baker again for another expansion. Remain in the mid 60’s for now.

Hello Commanders! I'll be back tomorrow for a proper set of orders, but a quick look gives us a couple of things to work on:

Our expansion completed and as expected dropped us into LHS 346. Boost us over the current war.
Push hard in Baker to get us expanding out of there ASAP. We are currently at 62.1% with no local wars causing problems. Hit all the BGS levers hard!
Keep an eye on TDW in Lopu Maris and boost us if we drop too much closer to retreat level, otherwise leave alone.
Nothing else really jumps out as particularly urgent.

Greetings CMDRs! TDW is sitting at a very nice INF level in LHS 346, we will probably revisit that location later, for now we have an expansion out of Baker to light off (which is very very close at 74.8%). Looking around TDW space, we have a short list of conflicts to shepherd as well as a few places where TDW needs some INF for BGS stability. Nothing looks like it will take anything near herculean effort, but a driveby or two over the next few days should do the business quite well. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:

  • La Rochelle - TDW 6.8% - just a little low, a couple of missions will fix that
  • LHS 3531 - TDW 6.0% - just a little low, a couple of missions will fix that
  • LHS 397 - TDW 28.8% - very low for a control system, all the things for 50% INF

TDW TLC systems:
LHS 397 28.8% steady decline for quite a while
86 Mu Herculis 40.5%

Hello Commanders! Yet again work and then family commitments get in the way of space empire building. The usual Thursday night looks like it is under threat for the near future, so expect a bit of randomness. I will aim for Thursday with Friday as the backup plan.

While I haven't been organised, that is clearly not the case for you Commanders. TDW is now pending expansion, almost certainly out of Baker, on target for our next lore-related test system. There is a slight chance we may have launched from Ross 154 instead but I'd have to jump in the pilot's seat to check. There are open slots from both locations that should be suitable new homes for us if we miss our preferred target.

We have the usual selection of TDW systems where we are lower than desired. A little work for TDW in 9 Puppis, LHS 397, Phra Lak, Wolf 629, LHS 306, Hrimfaxi or 86 Mu Herculis will help stability.

A quick look at Inara's conflicts tab doesn't show any conflicts needing urgent attention. At this late stage I'll let Wolfdragon's more thorough analysis in about 30 hours time take care of this in greater detail.

After this expansion, The Dark Wheel will be in 47 systems. We are getting close to finishing all the originally planned goals for this project, the last being placing TDW into 50 systems. It would be nice to make this 50th expansion land in somewhere as a deliberately targeted system rather than a random destination, so please make your suggestions as to reachable destination systems.

Greetings CMDRs! The expansion out of Baker is lit! The BGS crews have been putting in extra hours to shape this one and with any luck we will land somewhere that could be very interesting, more on that as the expansion clock winds down. Looking around TDW space we have the usual handful of conflicts and places where some housekeeping is needed, but I’m not seeing any eyebrow raisers and that always makes me happy since that means we all get to enjoy some chill gaming sessions. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:

TDW TLC systems:
LHS 397 43.1%
Phra Lak 44.1%

Wolf 433 TDW 6.4% - just missions for easy INF, be sure to work Romanenko Port for anything Cargo/Pax related

Project Status:
Hello Commanders! Our expansion out of Baker is in its final phase and should drop us somewhere nice around the weekend. Baker itself has slipped quite a bit and may be in for a shock when the expansion tax hits, so still do some work for TDW there! Otherwise there is a shortish list of TLC systems and a bunch of conflicts to manage.

Items of note:

TDW TLC systems:
Baker 59.4% - expecting tax of -15%
Phra Lak 40.9%

LHS 54 - Legions Armada a bit low on 5%

Elections in 9 Puppis - I don't really care who wins, so long as they win by only one day.

  • Keep Baker ticking over to counter expected 15% dip in a few days
  • Start working Yuqui towards expansion. We have some holes to fill in allied systems!

Conflicts:
86 Mu Herculis Elections - Support Colanja Gold Power Services 0-2
9 Puppis Elections - Support Either, W1 1-0

Greetings CMDRs! The expansion out of Baker landed TDW in Kushen, less than 8Ly away from Witch’s Reach. We are currently in a war here so win that one quickly and then let’s climb the ladder and see if anything happens about getting a permit to unlock! Looking around TDW space we have a couple TDW conflicts and a few to shepherd for our non-natives in a few places. We also have a handful of places where TDW is low as well as a couple low non-natives. Nothing looks too out of the ordinary and all should be easy to clear off the list. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:

TDW is close to conflicts in a few places, easy enough to fix those with a win, keep an eye out for those popping up over the next few days

TDW TLC systems:
  • LHS 2429 - TDW 5.7% - Just a few missions to get back to ~10%
  • LHS 336 - TDW 6.9% - Just a few missions to get back ~10% (might need a conflict win)
  • LHS 3531 - TDW 7.2% - Just a few missions to counter the infrastructure failure, 10% would be good

LHS 306 46.9% (target 50% for TDW here)
9 Puppis 48.1% (target 50% for TDW here)

  • Wolf 629 - 36 Ophiuchi Future 5.8% - Just a few missions to counter the drought, 10% would be good
  • Yuqui - Baris Progressive Party 4.5% - Too low, nearly a retreat risk, missions to get 7% would fix them

Addendum:
Now that The Dark Wheel is in Kushen, we have no further need to control Baker. AD power play does need Baker Confederacy to be in control for fortification purposes. When the time comes, let Baker Confederacy take control of Baker.

I would like to send a huge o7 to the AD powerplay BGS planners that I have been working with for the past good little while as we orchestrated this targeted expansion for The Dark Wheel to get where we wanted to go and clear of their Zeta Trianguli Australis cube.

Hello Commanders! The Dark Wheel has been pushed into expansion already from LHS 54. There do not appear to be any open slots just yet, so we will likely go somewhere by invasion. It is way too early to predict where that would be unless we had a particular target in mind. There are also no active retreats in range. This messes slightly with the plan we had with Terra-Ex to fill some holes in their systems. TDW space itself is fairly stable and the TLC this week is more about boosting us in some systems for later rather than fixing problems. Conflicts are about normal with only one going the wrong way.

Items of note:
Baker - We are to lose the election for control of Baker as per agreement with AD powerplay. We will sit at #2.

TDW TLC systems:

Arque TDW 3.7% watch.
Kushen Boost TDW 11.4%
LHS 2429 Boost TDW 11.5%
LHS 336 Boost TDW 10.5%
LHS 346 Boost TDW 12.5%

Non Native TLC:
86 Mu Herculis Boost Colanja Gold Power Services over the war.

Greetings CMDRs! While the expansion clock keeps ticking to take TDW from LHS 54 to wherever the wind blows we certainly have a list of activities this week. Top priority is the war in Kushen so that we can continue our climb to take control of the system. There are also a number of other conflicts to shepherd, most are already going the right way, and I expect that light work over the next few days will handle them all nicely. Speaking of light work, we also have some very minor housekeeping to handle in a couple of systems. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Hello Commanders! The expansion clock keeps ticking and we should arrive somewhere new in a day or so. Most likely target is Wolf 636. After that we should get another jump out of Yuqui which is currently hovering just below the 75% expansion threshold. We are being challenged for control in LHS 397 so ensure we win those elections 4-zip!

Items of note:
Expansion out of LHS 54 soon to complete. Repair our influence if it drops below 50%
Next expansion out of Yuqui - boost us above 75 and keep us there until it goes pending.
Elections for system control in LHS 397. Ensure we win these!
Anyanwu - Aegilips Co are a retreat risk at 4.4%

TDW TLC systems:

Phra Lak 48.8%
86 Mu Herculis 44.7%
Kushen 24.6% - push to the top!
LHS 2429 12.1%
Lave 12.4% 3rd place!

Greetings CMDRs! The war for control of Kushen is on! Time to run up some ammunition bills in the CZs and have TDW take control for the permit test of Witch’s Reach! LHS 397 has an election to keep control of the system and is well on its way to a favorable conclusion. Keep stuffing those ballot boxes! This week brings a decent list of other conflicts to shepherd in addition to our high priority ones I just mentioned, a quick drive though those systems for some quick work will likely see them handled rather nicely. Housekeeping work looks very minimal with only Sokoji and Lave making the list.

The expansion from LHS 54 took us rather unexpectedly into Ao for an invasion war onto a player faction, per the good neighbor policy TDW should not win that and thus not boot Capsule Corp Interstellar from Ao. That being said, the tally so far is 2-0 in TDWs favor so let’s not push that any farther and let that PMF retain their place in the system.

Lest I forget… Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
  • War for control of Kushen - Permit test for Witch’s Reach! Let’s make sure to steamroll this one
  • Election to keep control of LHS 397 - We for sure want to stay in charge of this system
  • Next expansion out of Yuqui - boost us above 75 and keep us there until it goes pending
  • LHS 54 is fine as it is, our friends in EFRC made the transition out of legacy mode and we will let them retake the system at their leisure

TDW TLC systems:

86 Mu Herculis 43.3%
Phra Lak 47.8%
Wolf 629 48.1%

Sokoji TDW 7.2% - Want 10%

Hello Commanders! The war for Kushen is ongoing though it may complete this tick. There has been some significant opposition so jump on in and get it done! Our previous expansion landed us in Ao at the last minute. We did not contest the invasion war but seem to have won it without our direct intervention. Our next expansion is now in the pending stage out of Yuqui, on track to drop us in to an open spot in Esumindii. There seem to be an unusually high number of conflicts and TLC systems needing some work so hope everyone gets a bit of free time in the cockpit over the weekend.

Greetings CMDRs! TDW is now in control of Kushen and we are watching the board to see what happens there. In the meantime, keep pushing inf there to solidify TDWs control position as well as prepare for an eventual expansion from here to close out the Witch’s Reach permit test. Speaking of expansions, TDW is on it’s way towards Terra-Ex space out of Yuqui, exact system TBD but there’s time to figure that one out later. Looking more at the now list of things, we have a number of conflicts to shepherd, a few are new, many of the older ones are well along their way to the desired result, all thanks to your efforts! Additionally, we have a few places where TDW needs a little shoring up where TDW is a guest, but nothing looks terrifically eyebrow raising. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
  • Keep boosting TDW influence in Kushen, getting an expansion out of there is the final part of the the Witch’s Reach permit test
  • TDW is too high in Charonium, if a conflict with LSR happens, TDW is to lose that one
  • Lopu Maris - Getting quite close here, if a conflict happens TDW is to win that and stay #2 there

Project Status:
Hello Commanders! TDW has arrived in Haritana as planned. We are likely to fill holes in a few more Terra-EX systems with future expansions. The next one however should be out of our newly captured Kushen to test Witch’s Reach. We have the usual selection of conflicts to deal with and some systems where general work for TDW is needed.

Items of note:
Keep boosting TDW influence in Kushen, getting an expansion out of there is the final part of the Witch’s Reach permit test. As there is a hole in a very nearby system LAWD 26, we may have to do at least two expansions from Kushen.
Charonium - War for control against LSR. We are to LOSE this one, currently we are winning 2-0

TDW TLC systems:
86 Mu Herculis 42.5
BD-18 3106 48.4
Haritana Boost TDW to get to #2
Kushen Boost TDW to expansion
Lave Boost TDW to get to #2
LTT 5455 43.8
Phra Lak 48.7
Yuqui Boost TDW back to ~65%

Greetings CMDRs! Much like the Titans, TDW space is poppin! We have a number of conflicts as well as a few places where mission running will get and keep the “rack and stack” nicely handled, most things are already well on their way to being properly handled. We are still looking at Kushen for any secrets to be revealed, the current step is being to get expansions going out of there, which looking at the graphs, TDW is on the climb to get that >75% rather soon! Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
Keep boosting TDW influence in Kushen, getting an expansion out of there is the final part of the Witch’s Reach permit test. As there is a hole in a very nearby system LAWD 26, we may have to do at least two expansions from Kushen.

Charonium - The win here for TDW was unexpected and not desired, plan going forward, we will hold the system as a steward for LSR and hand it back when that time comes.

LHS 54 - We want our friends at EFRC to retake this system (TDW is to lose this conflict)

TDW TLC systems:
  • LTT 5455 42.1%
  • 86 Mu Herculis 42.7%

Sometimes when you're simply heading for a routine landing, the game surprises you. On my way into Lave Station, there were 3 ships tangled up near the mailslot. My timing was unfortunate. My ship got caught in the station's crossfire. The second time I arrived a short time later, two Type-7s were there, still bouncing off one another.

Hello Commanders! Looks like a whole bunch of conflicts completed the right way but there are a bunch more cropping up. I’m glad to see Lave removed off our list for a while - we are back above 15% and looking nice and stable for now. Priority for the next few days is to build Kushen, but there are conflicts there that need resolving as well.

Items of note:

  • When factions in a TDW system are in conflict, we want the native faction (N by their name in Inara) to LOSE. We can ignore conflicts between two native factions.
  • We want non-native factions above native factions to avoid invasions. When factions are above 7% influence and own an asset, conflicts can occur. Keep a few % between non-natives to prevent this.

Project Status:

Greetings CMDRs! Excellent job cleaning up things over the weekend! We have a few things that have popped up but all look to be easily handle-able. Scroll on down for the conflicts list to take your fill of ballot box stuffing as well as ammunition deliveries, don’t forget about the general missions list where some housekeeping would go a very long way for stability across TDW space. Have fun out there CMDRs!

Items of note:
- Arque - TDW 5.2% with two bad states, a few missions to get to about 7% would stabilize things here for us very nicely

TDW TLC systems:
86 Mu Herculis 41.4%
9 Puppis 42.3%

  • Phra Lak - Usiren Free 7.3% - missions to climb back to #2, will require conflict wins to get there
