this can sound counter intuitive but can you try changing the number to 4 restart pc and then see if it works ir not change it back and restart again ?

Now... i don´t have a router. I´ m direct connected via DSL modem.
But an idea is my harddiskspace. My Steamfolder is on an HD, not SSD. On another game i have had a problem with this.
Clients with their stuff installed on an HD, ends up with a timeout.
So they changed something on their servers and i was able to get in again. May be something similar ??

Any idea, when the problem with connection will be solved? I tried to do all possible and wasted many hours...

Funny thing that every other thing working just fine. Only elite dangerous not.
Exactly! All other games and applications are launched. Everything works as usual. Except the Elite. I really tried everything. I reinstalled the game, disabled antivirus and firewalls, installed the latest drivers, experimented with VPN ... I hope the Frontiers will release the next patch as soon as possible.
It sounds very sad. Especially against the background of the absence of any comments from the FD.

I had the exact same issue...
Already before the September update i had problems with my Win10 regarding lags/freezes etc. but i never found a soution for it.
Finally i ended up with the option to restore the PC which also did a fresh Win10 installation ... and to my surprise this network issue with ED was gone!

Certainly. We paid the money and ended up not getting the product. This already it seems on violation of rights.
These days I could mine painite 300-400KK a day - for the damn fleet carrier, because nobody, nobody !!! hell don't know how much they will cost! and there’s only one way to earn money in the Elite !!! Mining !!! I AM! Pirate! Forced to mine !!! NO BALANCE! Researcher? Dealer? Pirate? Smuggler? If you want a fleet carrier, be a miner !!! I was very angry, damn it! But now I can’t even do mining work! I can’t even enter the game !!! Well, what else to do? Сarrier - content for me. Nothing more to do. Triple Elite - done, Beagle Point - done... FD!
