Au contraire, how are Frontier going to find out why they are potentially losing customers unless they are told (on the forum). No you are not but if you are not playing it seems a bit redundant

Don’t get on it, it’s just another way to provoke. But I love the fact that someone make a joke of the situation which it happens sadly to our friends (you) from McOSAu contraire, how are Frontier going to find out why they are potentially losing customers unless they are told (on the forum).
Welcome o7Where's the openness and transparency promised by FDev? We got a borked update and an underwhelming hotfix and then radio silence. Paying customers are left in the dark. We not even get an official apology for this disaster.
On stream they addressed this and are looking at a fix, almost certainly before Christmas.Where's the openness and transparency promised by FDev? Again I'd like to argue that posting a condensed transcript of the streams would save them from a lot of unnecessary questions and players from a lot of headaches. On stream they addressed this and are looking at a fix, almost certainly before Christmas.
They have a real penchant for knowing things and not being able to wait to share it with us, but still postponing said sharing to a later date.Agreed, an updated note in this very thread from a CM would do the trick. Only needs to be a sentence long. If they know it already and have shared it on stream already why not share it here for those that can't watch a stream or don't want to.
Ideed. And I believe that all timetable control should be given back to the engineers - CEOs and marketoids should pipe down and let the professionals work and release the work WHEN IT IS TESTED READY, not before. OK, maybe not all control because then the developers would never release anything new trying to perfect everythingAgain I'd like to argue that posting a condensed transcript of the streams would save them from a lot of unnecessary questions and players from a lot of headaches.
I actually think they are firefighting so hard right now that they cannot provide accurate info.. but that being said, if something is mentioned on stream they have a whole team of 'Open and Honest' CMs.. you'd think one of them would post it here as a matter of priority to manage expectations and frustrations. They have a real penchant for knowing things and not being able to wait to share it with us, but still postponing said sharing to a later date.
Ex-customers are not the best people to say why they are ex-customers?Disgruntled ex-customers are rarely able to provide useful information on this matter.
To be fair it's pretty obvious why there are no macOS commanders anymore. Frontier know why that happenedDon’t get on it, it’s just another way to provoke. But I love the fact that someone make a joke of the situation which it happens sadly to our friends (you) from McOS
It's still all conjecture on our part, we can only take (un)educated guesses at why or how things are as they are. I agree a permanent test server is a good idea, but I don't think there's any need for (monetary) compensation. Things like unlimited credits, unlimited resources and availability of all modules, modded or unmodded, should be enough of an incentive. Think of it as Minecraft on Creative. They could also just have a custom, smaller scale "galaxy" there with convenient placed testing beds for all kinds of activities.Ideed. OK, maybe not all control because then the developers would never release anything new trying to perfect everythingbut most of the control. And the emergency roll-back option should always be at hand. Maybe some beta-test server for the community - that would be a good way to get massive testing team for cheap (i.e. for the ARX or special cosmetics or other perks in the main game).
Ideally they would be doing that already with some experienced and knowledgeable players in-house.It's still all conjecture on our part, we can only take (un)educated guesses at why or how things are as they are. Yeah no kidding. Seeing as how todays SC news was all about the new srv, not available on horizons, I didn’t bother to watch.Again I'd like to argue that posting a condensed transcript of the streams would save them from a lot of unnecessary questions and players from a lot of headaches.
Nah, you need a healthy mix of people. Newer players do things experienced players never thought about. If it includes the "all guns & ammo" type of approach I'm sure you'll see plenty of traffic from both new and old players trying out ship configurations and suit loadouts to their hearts' content. Hell, you could also organise community-type activities there with free for all battles and SRV races and whatnot to test the net code and other multiplayer things.Ideally they would be doing that already with some experienced and knowledgeable players in-house.
No it isn't an Alpha or Beta and unfortunately it is a badly flawed full release.I'm sorry for the outburst but this is not an Alpha or Beta, this is supposed to be a full release. After 7 months of issues a simple we'll tell you when we can is not enough. Is the community supposed to just be silent and wait for a product that they paid for to have it's issues resolved? The forums are supposed to be the place to, among other things, communicate your issues with the game openly. How else should the community express their frustrations?
