I think I might have though devious and underhanded ways figured out the secret!
I'd be disposed to keep mum in exchange for some free stuphz?

Just don't mention which system it's in! It is a closely guarded secret as my friend and colleague here knows!

Who needs to know about it anyway

I've penned you a communication outlying my thoughts. Up to you old chap how you want to deal with this!I am disturbed by this revelation. Disturbed and a little aroused.
I believe portmanteau is the proper terminology...Not derogatory - as I have been using the term for years.
Think conglomeration of Playstation and Xbox... Of which I had both, personally, when I coined the term.
But this is off-topic, allegedly.

And yet the console edition of Odyssey by their own projection was supposed to launch at around the same time as the PC, then was subsequently delayed and then subsequently silenced entirely. If this announcement towards what's upcoming for the year doesn't include Odyssey news on console, or it's release, then DOOM is the only outcome (for console players at least)."including new updates, content expansions and the next major phase in the
ongoing narrative" suggests we're not facing a DOOM scenario, even if that's as specific as the CMs can be at this time.
I'm sure that as gentlemen we can work something out to keep the dark secret hidden..
I think a cat claw cutter might be enough to induce my silence!
Edit: Actually on careful analysis of the situation, I'd really need access to the Gal Corp hyperspace technology too! I'm sick and tired of the long SC times, and I'd really need to visit a certain place at least once in my life.
It still has its issues, but that's a bit of an exaggeration. Odyssey is in a FAR better state than it was at release.Given how people are now struggling to actually get in the game feels like the writing is on the wall for this one, with every update and hotfix its one step forward, two steps back. Given the current issues and the lack of significant performance improvements I cant see this coming to console this year, also the drop in active players means less people to help "test".
That does seem somewhat of a dodgy proposition..Oh something can be arranged, but I should let you know that the teabaggers, and the SotG crew, are both bunches of devious people who are very skilled and experienced in assassinations, and dirty yet silent murder.
I've yet to see them work in tandem, but someone like @Rat Catcher who belongs in both camps - probably someone to best avoid in dark places.
Best to avoid me in dark places too, but you are likely to get touched before murdered. And I will enjoy it. Bring a change of clothes.
Ok so when Odyssey launched I could run the game, yes performance was sub-par but I could run it. Now post Update 10 & hotfixes the game constantly crashes going into the main menu. So for me, and I'm not the only one facing this, I cannot even play the game now, hence in a worse state. I know its not my pc & setup as every other game I have tried (which are more resource hungry than Elite) have worked with no issues. It still has its issues, but that's a bit of an exaggeration. Odyssey is in a FAR better state than it was at release.

I must warn you dear Sir, that I've made a full deposition of my discoveries with the GGG (Galactic Guild of Gaffers)!
In case of my untimely demise, all details will immediately be made public..
A group of friends I join online are also having issues getting into the game, hence why I stated I know I'm not the only one facing this problem. Yes I am but one voice out of the many players, and to be honest I have not really had much of an issue with the state of Odyssey until now. Performance issues, yes a lot of games have these, but to not actually be able to play the game at all, well thats a whole different scenario. Thats why for me personally it is currently in a worse stateOne example in a sea of how many? Proper statistics are needed to make this credible, bearing in mind that the majority (probably an understatement) of people who come to the forum to post about performance; are here to moan about it, leaving the majority of positive feedback sitting out in the cold. This majority have better things to do I guess, probably playing the game and enjoying it.
I don't disagree about the console thing though, just for clarity.
I just hope that if Frontier announce something bad, ie dropping consoles, the community would be adult enough to understand and accept it.
BUT I've seen this community from before Elite Dangerous was even announced and I think I can predict what the community's reaction would be.
