Crom might be interesting as an oddity.
It's just a station orbiting the star at 1200ls.
No planets, no asteroid belts, nothing.
Not quite sure where they supply their extraction economy from but it is run by pirates.

Conservatives of Tilialla don't control a station at Varpet now.

I am a bit disappointed with regards to what Frontier is doing with these permit things. Couldn't at least one item be super cheap, or some planet in one of the systems be extra juicy or something. This could be taken so much further. Maybe it will too, in 2020, not the game for impatient people this 
Still, I enjoy collecting the permits. But it's a bit hard to get started (getting to the friendly stage) in many of them.

bring a med size ship with combat capabilities as some of the delivery missions will be for outposts and also kill missions will require you to have a combat loadout.
Somewhere between 6 and 10mill credits to get to Allied.
Not sure it was quite that much.
I came back with about 75m worth of data and managed to get most of the permits available where the faction runs a station.

I've actually found it to be closer to 5-6 million credits, with 6 being around the upper limit.
So if you've been out for a while neutron star farming, and got around 80m (or around 1000-2000 neutron stars), you can just jump from one permit-granting system to the next and get all the independent ones pretty quickly.
Yeah that seemed about what I was getting, I guesstimated it to be around 4-5 million but obviously you only get to test on a few systems so it's hard to be exact.
Got to allied from neutral by selling 4 MCr worth of exploration data.

I had to check , as i was sure Triton in Sol system was locked, but looking now, It is NOT!

Although, I am starting to wonder if you will actually need permits to enter the actual planet/moons. It just seems to me like they're just locking the planet rather than hiding it behind a permit.
Until they actually release the content, it seems like a bit of a misnomer to list individual planets unless we have some indication that a permit actually exists (and hopefully some indication of how to obtain it).
Brotherhood of Terra Mater no longer controls a station but is still present in Hecate.
Hodack Prison colony has expanded. They are now in Solati. They also control the station again in Amalangkan. Also of note, The Pilots Federation has expanded into Delkar. Not sure if you can earn your way into Shinrarta Dehzra or not.
Thank you. It appears that the Crescent Nebula alleged permit requirements came about because the background sim was permit locking systems that weren't supposed to be locked, a bug that FD fixed a while back. Thanks to you I will remove this from the list.
