Updated Permit List

Even I tried getting allied with 4 Sextantis with no result. Its clearly to me another system with a permit for now wtih no known way to unlock them.

why put a system in you can NEVER access i also got allied with 4 Sextantis Inc i kept my eyes open every time i went up from cordial to allied nothing ever showed for a permit acquisition mission

Since the controlling factions for CD-44 1695, Mingfu and HIP 54530 are only in the permit system (according to EDDB.io) how do you get a system permit for these three?

How do you get a permit for LFT 509? This system does not even show up on EDDB.io so I have no idea what faction controls it.

If the OP doesn't tell you how to get the permit you cannot get it. Or maybe you can be the first to work out how ...

The 4 Sextantis permit does not show in the galaxy map as unobtainable like basically all the other 'unknown how to obtain' permits. It would be a strange oversight that it just got missed, but far from impossible all things considered.

All the bugs make it difficult to figure out if anything is actually intentional/working as intended.

Possible Approaches:
1) Chained missions

Possibly doing the right chained missions might still lead to the permit. (has not worked yet, and i have done an insane number of chained missions for 4 sextantis inc.)

2) multiple faction 'combination lock'

3) Certain NPCs skill gate

4) Certain NPC may be wake follow-able.

5) Cargo 'key' + follow wake

I'm sure that this is old news to some, but as it stands now the permit for Peregrina is inaccessible because the minor faction (Peregrina Aristocrats) control no stations within 15 LY. They used to have a station in HIP 18609, but a player faction now controls it.

They still have stations in HIP 19157, so it's possible to become Allied with them but you won't get the permit mission.

The faction doesn’t need to control the station to give out the permit mission.

And shouldn't there be a megaship of the permit giving faction deployed in a neighboring system if it was expelled from all other than their home system?

That's only happened once as far as I know and was a direct intervention by Frontier in response to an "in character" event by a player faction at the time. I'd raised this with Frontier to allow other locked in permit giving factions to do the same thing but that has seemingly got put on the big back burner of things they will probably never get around to fixing/doing.

Only 2 methods I can think of. Both very cumbersome:

1. Go bounty hunting with a KWS in the neighboring systems and turn in bounties for the permit issuing faction at an IF.
2. Find someone with a permit and ask them to push the permit issuing faction into expansion.

Does turning in bounties at IF even raise your rep with that faction? In any case even if it did, you still wouldn’t get the permit because you can’t get the permit mission from that faction, as they aren’t at any stations outside the permit locked system.

I stand corrected. You can't get the permit if you can't enter the system.

You get the reputation from an IF, only the influence is lost.

Hi folks, and a happy new year! :)

Ok, I've been doing a personal quest over Christmas to get as many system permit's as I can. I have quite a few already that were collected from when the game was first released, so I haven't gained all these over Christmas btw!
Here is a list of what I've already got, but I would welcome any information as to what other obtainable permits I could go for. I haven't obtained the 'CQC' related permit yet
so that's one I might try for in the future.
Here's the list of system permits I already have....

Sol System
LTT 198
Van Maanen's
Summerland
Achenar
Jotun
Peregrina
Hors
Beta Hydri
Nastrond
Facece
Terra Mater
Plx 695
Pi Mensae
Exbeur
Tiliala
Hodack
Alioth
Vega
Founders World
Crom
Ross 128
Sirius
Isinor
Luyten 347-14

There seems to be a few systems, Mbooni, Bellica, Witch's Reach for example that have no population/factions according to the current information, are these still 'unobtainable?
Any information or advice appreciated!

Jack :)
