Updated Permit List

Hi folks, and a happy new year! :)

Ok, I've been doing a personal quest over Christmas to get as many system permit's as I can. I have quite a few already that were collected from when the game was first released, so I haven't gained all these over Christmas btw!
Here is a list of what I've already got, but I would welcome any information as to what other obtainable permits I could go for. I haven't obtained the 'CQC' related permit yet
so that's one I might try for in the future.
Here's the list of system permits I already have....

Sol System
LTT 198
Van Maanen's
Summerland
Achenar
Jotun
Peregrina
Hors
Beta Hydri
Nastrond
Facece
Terra Mater
Plx 695
Pi Mensae
Exbeur
Tiliala
Hodack
Alioth
Vega
Founders World
Crom
Ross 128
Sirius
Isinor
Luyten 347-14

There seems to be a few systems, Mbooni, Bellica, Witch's Reach for example that have no population/factions according to the current information, are these still 'unobtainable?
Any information or advice appreciated!

Jack :)

Besides the CQC one that looks to be all the available ones, unless new ones appeared since I went and got them all. I made a spreadsheet to track them, along with the ones that aren't currently accessible (that are single systems, not entire regions). There's probably some more inaccessible systems now as there's been a couple of content drops since I made this list, but I think it's moot anyway as they are inaccessible.

Hi :)

Thanks for all the information, I kinda thought that was all the obtainable ones that were rank orientated or faction based. I guess the unknown ones and other large areas will be more understandable as to why they're locked as the game progresses through development.
Cheers!
Jack:)

Not sure about the 4 sextantis permit not being 'owned' by 4 sextanis inc. There was a bug report filed ages ago about the permit mission being shown, but that it disappeared after getting allied so the mission could not be accepted. So apparently it has been tweaked not not show the mission at all, or there is some other requirements need to unlock it/ accept the mission.

No? Why would you think it was a joke?

It looks like permit missions are chain missions (I didn't think they were before) so if you have a pending chain mission it looks like a permit mission is now a possibility, but the usual restrictions still apply - being allied with the faction. This means that you can flip the board until you get the permit mission as long as you have a pending chain mission.

They're not chain missions, rather, they're put at the top regardless of whether you can accept them or not. The same applies for navy promotion missions.

Apparently, they were "too hard to see" before 🤷‍♂️

Can anyone else see the system map for HR 4413?

I understand it shows nothing but so do previously undiscovered systems when you first enter them before you do the fss. No implication as to it being important, just trying to see if anyone else can see this too on their end.

Navy promotion missions are definitely chain missions, and you can see the chain symbol on the permit mission too.
Can you (or anyone?) grab a screenshot?

I don't have much rank with feds, but always see promotion missions despite never running missions for them. I can't check myself because my characters are 10,000LY from any civilisation.

I dont have a screen shot and am not anywhere near ranking up with anyone atm but i can definitely confirm that naval rank missions have a chain link icon on them
Sounds like a display issue then... i definitely get plenty of offers of these missions, but have done no mission to trigger a chain with the relevant faction(s)... so they can't be actual chain missions.

Probably an artefact of how they're forced to the top of the list.

FYI: Seems we might be able to get more info on those pesky unattainable permits now - park an FC within a few Ly and you can buy its information - and now it's in eddb etc

The ones in the bubble have been done, but there are a couple of remote ones that people might want to snag. Still can't visit AFAIK.
Thank you for the information (y).
LFT 509 is not far from sol (i'm in the pleiades but in the galmap they seem pretty close) so maybe the article's author is right :)
