Updated Permit List

New permits won't matter without some new game play content to justify it. It's times like this that I wish FDev could do a bit more handcrafting and actually have entire game play worlds that you could spend 30-40 hours doing raids and such, and NOT have it feel like a grind.

That's the route Star Citizen has chosen to take, they have made some amazing worlds and environments, meanwhile 8 years later we are here playing ED and SC is still in Alpha. It's likely in the 2020 update we will see some more crafted bodies like maybe the moon, that would be nice, but lets not ask for something that we know is going just stop everything else in its tracks for years on end.

Well, it's not the hand-crafted worlds thing alone that delayed thing. A big part of that is Chris Roberts' style of micromanagement that creates a chaotic working environment, a large part of which is feature creep stuff that's more appropriate to add AFTER the game is released (and would make for a decent DLC provided it gave at least 40+ extra hours of enjoyable game play value). David Braben may have his own faults, but creating a chaotic work environment through micromanagement certainly isn't one of them.

At the end of the day, though, having permit-locked systems has to mean something other than "yay! I accessed this system, which look almost exactly like the millions of other systems just like it!". Heck, even placing engineers in the rest of the permit-locked systems would be an improvement over what we got now (albeit a small one).

Months ago, I went to the systems near 4 Sextantis to get the permit, the permit always appeared on the Mission Board, when you maximize the reputation, the permit disappeared, I reported it at the time and this was the answer:

So if you see the permit, it's a bug.
