At any rate, the Titans are the epicentres of the war.
After update 17, possibly. But for now, there is no meaningful actions to be done around Titans that would affect the war.

And anyway, getting to the Titan is no easy task. The maelstrom melts my grade 5 engineered FAS in a few minutes; I need many, many dives to try and collect materials needed for caustic sinks, and frankly, bounty hunting/conflict zones/tinkering with different weapons is much more interesting for me.

I'm not convinced that getting the xeno scanner and pod people recovery device is a good idea at all. If the Thargoids are turning the people in the pods into zombie soldiers, I have to ask myself why would I want a cargo hold full of Thargoid zombies? If they are Far god cultists and from the Federation (space Murica) aren't they going to be grumpy at being taken from the beings they worship and sue us? I don't want to lose my billions just because I 'rescued' a bunch of religious nuts.

Its better to let them become Thargoid zombies and wait for them to appear on the battlefield. It will be nice to shoot at someone different than the regular npc's.

I'm respectfully requesting to extend the CG by one week, to get us to tier 1 at least.
Lore-wise, if it is so important, why should bringing in materials be limited to a single week?

Yea, I guess requiring Crop Harvesters and Food Cartridges for this endeavor would be kind of, you know, weird.
Ever visited the Colonia Bridge space stations?
Based on the fact to CG to create them required several commodities the most profitable of which was Thermal Cooling Units, those stations are constructed almost entirely of Thermal Cooling Units :)

Well, the ones at the bubble end of the line were.

We mainly delivered Ceramic Composites at this end because they're the easiest to produce in bulk.

Will this resounding nonsuccess delay the delivery of the upgrade?
Will the story go ahead as planned despite the result?
Will people blame this CG on any delays that might afflict U17? 🤔

I don't think the final redeployment of the rescue ships is until 21st, so maybe they can just repeat the CG setting the Tier 1 to the amount the last Tier 1 was missed by :)

Based on previous failures the delay could be years.

Depends on how the story was planned, if it was done like the choose your own adventure books the story will merely branch depending on the CG outcome.

This is the forums people will blame the CG, the participants and anything else other than themselves for U17* being early/on time/delayed

*or anything else.

Sounds reasonable.

Thanks for fully capturing the spirit of my post! 😜

How do you lose credits due to the game crashing? In my experience even if it does crash, it remembers very well your current status.

Or do you mean that you lost time, and thus were not able to deliver as much as you could have?

I spent several hours trying to play the game, but it kept crashing. If the game had been stable, I would have generated a steady income from the CG.

I put the hours in, but my credit balance isn't as high as it would have been if the game was actually working properly during those hours spent.

I spent the time, but did not gain the credits = lost credits.

Maybe the problem was on your end? Because surely if it had been a fault of the game in general, more people would have reported it?

New GalNet is out. They have decided that the CG was exclusively to restock the supply megaships, but also it failing to reach T1 didn't matter and they'll be fine for now until a permanent supply chain is established (so no consequences).

Cool, if we're in a consequence-free environment we'll be sound as a pound. Yeah baby!

And besides, Fdev is the one turning the knobs and dials, so the outcome of anything depending on us is zero.

Did anyone get a module as a reward? I was in the 25% but got nothing.
Don’t think so. The delivery CG ‘mission’ kind of just quietly disappeared, no rewards offered as it didn’t complete. And there was no mention of a free scanner, anyway.

I was in the top 10% when it ended.
