I actually finished this some time ago now. The language in this translation is pretty stilted compared to more modern translations I have, which isn't surprising (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow February 27, 1807 – March 24, 1882).
I have a number of different translations of Divine Comedy. This is the Henry Wordsworth Longfellow translation.
The Gustave Dore etchings included to illustrate the poem are magnificent.
I'm now reading a book on Taoist Chi Kung.
I'm currently listening to Orange is the New Black on audiobook format. Surprisingly good.

Spellsinger by Alan Dean Foster. Read these around 30 years ago but still enjoyable.
Ploughing through the Three Body Problem books at the moment. It's a change to read something near-future Sci-Fi that's not based on a US/Euro point of view.
I finished the book on Taoist Chi Kung. It was highly technical Chinese medicine... very dry reading.

My mother has an ancestor who served in WW1 as a nurse in Belgium .

Despite being a well written, a very well written, history the material is confronting and harrowing. What those men and women lived through defies description.... words can't even begin to describe the horror and I can't imagine it.

After this I have something on the burner to read which is definitely not related to Australia's war involvements.

Just finished reading Our Vietnam Nurses.
The stories are interesting, sad and harrowing; it's war.
I've been to Vietnam and have visited some of the locations mentioned in the book. The book itself though is poorly written in places and the proofreading is laughable.
Now reading something completely different..... this:

For me that was a gem of a read. The insights presented by Jerry Garcia and other band members of Grateful Dead had me pulling out my Grateful Dead CD's and reevaluating their music all over again.
Now reading a book on Taoist science, acupuncture and medicine.
