For kicks, I've docked my FdL ("Angua von Uberwald) at Jamesons and kitted her out with stuff. A huge plasma accelerator and four rails. I still need to do the rounds of engineering experimentals but I think I ought to try her our first - those fixed weapons may be biting off more than I can chew.

Yuck. Yep. More than I could chew. The heat of weapons fire is rather horrid. Back to the drawing board! :D

I'm spending Christmas all alone out in the black exploring.
From Colonia I travelled to the top of the Galactic core, then went down to Sag A and Explorers Anchorage.
Now I'm heading back to the bubble, almost 25,000 ly's away. With a jump range of just 21 ly's it's going to take a while.
Luckily I am able to play ED as much as I want (one of the perks of being single) so I should be back into populated space just after the new year.

I seem to learn more from the general chat that goes on in here than in any of the other topics (except the search for Raxxla).

Heading out to a Guadrian site. It was ages ago I got the FSD and I want to get some more stuff. If I remember, it was quite spooky and I'd like to mooch around there again with the "night mode sound" on.

I don't actually need anything which is quite a nice position to be in: it won't feel like work. Which I am averse to :D

Hope you all had a good Christmans day. We fell asleep watching "The Italian Job" and nearly missed the "Self Preservation Society" song. Such a corney film by today's standards though!

Most of the Grauniad sites seem to be on planets which are, er...

Tidally locked, so they're either always daylight, or always dark (most common).
However, I've come across a couple that do rotate day and night, if you catch one of these at dawn or dusk... Amazing.

This afternoon I've nabbed the 400 Arx and quite a few bounties. All thanks to Eddy Mahon! Yep, trying for my next lot of Powerplay weapons from the Lavigny Duval woman. Got 10,000 merits* and although it does not sit well working for the Imperial fops, I've really enjoyed smacking up the Alliance Kale munchers.

If you stay at rating 5 she gives a tasty 100% bonus to bounties handed in at control/exploited systems.*

**Yeh, I'm gonna have to read up on that. Control? Exploited? 🤷‍♀️
