What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

I'm always hard on myself and probably compare myself too much with the top builders, instead of just looking how I gradually improve. Working on that bad habit.

Understandable. When I first started playing and saw how BIS and DeLadySigner built their parks, I literally went up to my brother and sister (this is a 20 year old walking to his younger siblings) amd said: "I'll never become them"

But, seeing all the builds here have helped me. All the tips I've gotten have helped me.
Most importantly: never give up. I can't tell you how much it really helps to not give up

Today I finally made some progress on the Arctic panorama complex again. I solved the problem with the underwater tunnel in the polar bear pool (it was not possible to put the water in anymore) by removing it and making a regular underwater viewing area out of it. Maybe I add a tunnel in the second polar bear habitat (the one for the female with cubs) which will have a separate water area.

Anyways, that's what the panorama looks like at the moment. Who can spot all three species?

Last night I did the Cassowary habitat. Not really happy with it yet. I like the integration of the mesh pieces, but all in all it looks too boxy.

Also build a Peafowl walkthrough habitat. It needs some decoration around it, but with the rest I'm happy.

During the last few days I've been playing in franchise in a new zoo based in a desert area because, when a new DLC drops, I like to research the animals first in franchise and then I start using them in sandbox. So, this zoo is going to receive all the new animals plus some old ones.

I have this habitat ready to add meerkats and one of our new friends...

This looks really good. Damn, those Palm Trees look awesome. It will be a hard Decision if I should buy the Africa or North America Pack next

I finished the rebuilded cassowary habitats, build a gulpee soda shop and did some fine tuning here and there to not have unfinished projects when the pack drops tomorrow.

I might add staff buildings for the new section that will include the sea lion and maaaaybe build some water filters to turn on water cleanliness for some added challenge and realism. Still trying to find the right ballance between sandbox fun and playing challenge.

I think I'm somewhat ready for tomorrow, though I went overboard with the terrain, opting for a mountainous entrance option for South America (to come after I finish with North America). Due to a second range of mountains I have more foliage to add in on those, but I think for now it's set for a little while. Still working on a plan for the facility shells, so just pretty those look all spiffy Also going to have to add in some more on the right side of the zoo to balance it out - oh darn LOL

So, today I finished the elefant enclosure. I made the fence in the front and the shelter for the male elefant.
I must do some work inside the habitat.
