So today I am working on some adjusting on my North African zoo named Anubis. The zoo is North African themed and only has African animals from all biomes except tropical. I intentionally excluded tropical as previous failed African zoos were too big, plus I have a successful tropical African zoo named Shikaka.
Anyway I have previously made several empty habitats for future animals, in particular the 2022 dlc animals fit perfectly in the empty sections. Now with the Arid dlc, I am seriously struggling to figure out who will go where and which habitats will allow multi species.
Determined the Dama Gazelle will live with the Ts, springs and sables. I may merge my gemsbok and oryx habitats and welcome the addax. Camels and donkeys are gonna have to live together, I took down my flamingo and hopeful Shoebill habitat and relocated them to another are to make room for our new members. Hoping the sand cat will be ok with a small habitat and will allow a few members. I had made a habitat with hopes of porcupines and Secretary birds, may need to use it for new members.
Now the big struggle is black rhino habitat, was thinking of sharing them with the white rhino habitat which I have 4 members, yet their space requirements are a lot and I don’t know if I’m gonna pull it off.
I made an empty baboon and gelada habitat along with a designated aviary section yet I am afraid I may tear those down as adding new sections may look strange and may bug me in the future. Maybe I am having creative block.
