Nuka Cola is a fallout series version of Coca Cola and its a play on words nuclear and Coca Cola since the game is set in a nuclear war post apocalypse.

Well... he's truely radiant and I love coke and him, so that is fitting I guess

While I was planning my upcoming chimpanzee habitat, I had some unused space in the area and I turned it into a bonobo habitat. I don't think it is very common for a zoo to have both bonobos and chimpanzees, but since I never use the first ones, I gave them a chance. Maybe they will be replaced if we get new African primates in future DLC.

The first animal arrives in GEOZoo.
Its the Gemsbock in the desert region. The habitat is in progress, but i will show you what i did today

On the other side of the bonobo habitat, and sharing with them the indoor area, there are the chimpanzees. Their habitat can be seen from both sides due to their central position in the African area.

Gosh, Aramar and Random Goat, i love your zoos! They are so pretty!

Yesterday i deleted the gemsbock habitat i was not happy with the path and in the evening in my bed i had a really nice idea, but it takes some time.

The Entrance Area of my Zoo was completely clogged by Guests (no Possibility to change the Paths due to the Way the Area is built) so I've got some Llamas from my Llama Farm and built a Petting Zoo Entrance near the Jaguar Enclosure (furthest away from the Original Entrance) and it worked. It even solved the Problem that caused Animals to get sick all the Time. I've also solved every single Animal related Problem in the Zoo and built a beautiful new Vet Clinic

Although I was going to save them for the potential future expansion consisting of a desert area, my zoo is getting big and I'm starting to worry about my laptop, so I decided to create the gemsbok habitat. If I manage to do the desert area, I will move them and repurpose this habitat.

I've been working on my oasis zoo. It's basically a very lush zoo set in the desert. I got a lot of inspiration from PoisonBlade ; the lampost you see at the center of the picture is from him, and I believe the custom tree on the lower part of the picture as well as the education boards are from the workshop. This zoo is quite old, but I wanted to go back to it after the last update, to change the color of the habitat's water to a more greenish one. I think it's better this way ! This is an okapi, tapir and anteater habitat.
Can you tell I love plants ? I hope we get more in the next pack !

Planet Zoo has been very on and off for me since the update, even spend some time in a new zoo at one point, but now I am back in The Dry Lands again.
Africa is coming along nicely and the wild dogs have found their way to the park. I think the terrain and rockwork turned out pretty good.

Still need to add some rock foundation under most of the fence (so it looks like something is stopping them from digging under it) and a smaller off-show separation enclosure for realism. Also still need to make some signs.

Most of this wasn't done today by the way.

Finally beat the Copahaga Park timed Scenario today after I've failed miserably yesterday. It was a bit stressful towards the End because for some Reason Guests were always leaving and there were also Problems with the Money but I was able to do it approximately 2 Minutes before I wouldnt've had a Chance anymore to get the Gold Statue.

Then I've created a Remake of the Cage I've built yesterday (just for Fun because I wanted to see if one of the Australian Fences would be suitable for a Aviary).

I came up with a new Design for a Japanese Macaque Donation Box.

Later I will most likely reach my financial Goal, so I will close the Zoo to do a really big Renovation in the whole Park.

Beautiful! What did you use to get the grass so lush and green in the desert zoo setting? I find that even the grasses are all yellow and dead looking in those zoos, and I've wished there were a way to select the ground appearance to resemble a habitat where you brought in different topsoil or water it a lot.

Not to 100% sure but I think those might be Moss Rocks

Thank you ! I use a combination of moss rocks and leaves bedding. Here's a close up, as well as my giraffe habitat where I used the same technique.

Edit: I pray for the day we will be able to change the color of the grass like in zoo tycoon...

Continued with the Renovation of my Zoo. Thanks to a really awesome Blueprint from the Workshop, the Keeper Hut that is Part of the Petting Zoo is now disguised as a Windmill. I've faked Tulips with other Plants and did a few Design Changes to the empty Donkey Enclosure.

I know the Petting Zoo Entrance isn't very good. I'm not good at building Barns and half timbered Houses. Maybe I'll try to create Blueprints with custom Wall Pieces so it will be easier for me to build them.

This section is a challenge for me because the water connects all the habitats in this part of the zoo, so I can't modify either the water or the paths anymore.
