What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

Feels good to be back at this after like 5 months. Remodelling and adding some grunge here and there.

Here's a little WIP pic: today I have started a new habitat that will provide a home to a living community for Sun Bears and Binturongs! Only the first outdoor section has been tackled so far as well as the viewing path for the visitors – to the right of that picture, I will next start building the indoor enclosure (although I'm still lacking inspiration on how to do that), and then probably a second outdoor area to the right of that, if I still have space left.

(The dead trees are from Cesar Creates, everything else by me :))

So I finally found some time to play my new challenge zoo again and then this happens...

They come in, go straight for the drink shop, then turn around to leave again right away while complaining that they couldn't stay long enough to see the single species there is in the zoo. Like what?! And it's not the thing where the entrance is too far from the first habitat for them to walk the mere 50m there to see the animals, that's right behind the info panel...I swear this really is Planet Drink Shop at least 50% of the time if not more >.<

Yeah this can be troublesome for starting a zoo . Some habitats just have no appeal to guests while even a drink shop apparently has more. I would try throw in some exhibits at the end of path to lure guests in while you build up the finances to add more appealing parts to the zoo.

Wow, spending $15 to see the zoo only to get a soda they could've gotten at a Circle K for $2.

Smarts, PlanConians

Oh, I know all about the exhbit thing, but it shouldn't be necessary in this case at all since the entrance is close enough and those Kangaroos still have way more appeal than say peafowls which keep drawing guests in. So it's really annoying that for whatever reason I had to put a stupid box into my entrance area where I don't want it to get at least some donations now, while they keep running to shops while still ignoring the actual animals... >.>

Planet Zoo, a Totally ballanced game.
I stand by the opinion, that the only use of the exhibit animals is to cheese the game till they get enough money in the normal ways

So true though xD

Put in 4 exhibits, get a shop of each type, 6 vendors, a cleaner and a keeper, let it run and you're set to make $$ in no time. Even more if you also get a vet for some research to boost breeding and education. Yep, makes total sense. Obviously my tiny spider or bug is infinitely more appealing and interesting than my kangaroos and everything is topped by a single drink shop...yeah, that's what we all want in a zoo game ._.
