Ironically i just learned that closet zoo to my hometown has hamadryas baboons lol they were never a priority to me.

Add mara, agouti, collared peccary, vicugna, howler, tufted capuchin, swans (black) and ducks (mainly muscovy), Southern screamer, pheasants, macaws, barn owl, rhea and coatis to cover the basics.

Then they have a common eland as well.

And a bunch of domestics i don't care about.

None of the animals in the tropical pack can be found in my local zoo, so nothing changes for me 🤣

None of the animals in the arid animal pack can be found in my local zoo, so still nothing changes for me 🤣

None of the animals in the Oceania pack can be found in my local zoo, so still nothing changes for me :ROFLMAO:

But I won't give up, fingers crossed for the anniversary!

The aquarium that's very close to me is one of the few North American zoos with little blue penguins, which were a bit less active on my visit than the African penguins which they also have.
As for other PZ species they have:
  • Hippopotamus (entirely indoor habitat shared with cichlids, unfortunately also on the smaller side)
  • Cuvier's dwarf caiman
  • Golden poison frog
  • Diamondback terrapin
For Philadelphia:
pzphilly.png

Notable animals at Philadelphia that would make good PZ additions:
Andean bear
Sloth bear
Mantled guereza
Coquerel's sifaka
Francois langur
Geoffroy's marmoset
Golden lion tamarin
White-faced saki
Bolivian gray titi
Pied tamarin
Mongoose lemur
Aye-aye
Red-capped mangabey
Brazilian porcupine
Trumpeter swan
White stork
Swan goose
Emperor goose
Golden pheasant
Southern ground hornbill
Ankole Watusi cattle

(It's a very primate-heavy zoo)

Would absolutely love it if we could do that
I've actually been wracking by brain trying to figure out how it could work in Frontier's style, but it just wouldn't. Special effects is the most efficient way (like the waterfall effects and such) but Frontier has said they won't make animals into special effects (which is why we got individually-named butterflies in the WTE instead). Making cichlids into habitat animals wouldn't work for several obvious reasons. Maybe if we got a null exhibit, but then we wouldn't be able to put it in water.

Maybe they could make a invisible Type of Exhibit that we need to put in Water, which can also be viewed from a bit further away (so the Guests can watch the Animals without the Need to place them directly at the Edge)

I'd argue that it's the biggest hole anywhere.
For North America alone, we're missing:
  1. Alligator snapping turtle
  2. Common snapping turtle
  3. Box turtle
  4. Copperhead
  5. Water moccasin/cottonmouth
  6. Coral snake (any species)
  7. Garter snake (any species)
It is annoying that reptile houses have no variety. They pretty much all use the AWM because it's better looking then the nile monitor and the komodo fill a different sorta thing. And besides that we don't have any freshwater turtles, small tortoises or lizards that aren't monitors like a tegu or larger iguana. Crocs are the only versatile group of them.

Oceania players how you doing?
Jokes on you i got the centerpiece of my second favorite zoo, zoo duisburg, with the tassie and the quokka is a good enough stand in for the brushtailed bettong. I could completly build that area, only missing the aviary, walkthrough outback aviary, the shortbeaked echidnas that chare the out doors enclosure of the koalas and the fact that they got 4 different wallaby species, which i all had to sub with the red necked. Sorry swamp, parmas and agile wallabys.
Oh and chicken lol, cause they keep chicken with their swamp wallabys and kangaroos for some reason.
Also as a side note, their walkthrough aviary with the agile wallabys is the only aviary ever that ive seen that somewhat resembles the WE in game, scarily close actually. 8 Meters wide, 10 Meters long and 8 meters in height allmost are the ingame parameters, thats "just" 4 meters in width and 10 in lenght missing with the correct height. Doesnt stop it from not having just a boring straight as the path though lol
