Maybe the mungo instead of the bear ...Mungo would be fantastic! It's so common in landscaping. Tulips (flexicolor?) would be another great mountain plant since they're originally from the Himalayas.

Its dangerous to go alone, take this!

Hmmm. I don‘t know about others on here, but I‘d be pretty disappointed if we wouldn‘t get a European species with this theme because this area is still lacking overall (and mountains are one of the areas where Europe shines the most). I can understand including Chamois would be a letdown to some when we already have enough other ungulates in this pack, but animals like the Alpine Marmot, the Capercaillie or even the Mountain Hare would be really interesting imo.My version of mountains animal pack:
1. Matschie's Tree Kangaroo - endemic to saruwaged range on huon peninsula
2. Colombian Black Spider Monkey - monke from montane forests of north andes.
3. Spectacled Bear - another species found in montane forests of north andes.
4. Mishmi Takin - apparently this subspecies lives in more mountainous areas of himalayas
5. Himalayan Monal - bird from himalayas
6. Hamadryas Baboon / Gelada - if we can have up to 4 carnivorans in one pack then why not 2 monke? Species from Ethiopian highlands.
7. Rock Hyrax - small boi from various mountains in africa
8. Chinese Giant Salamander (E) - lives in mountain streams. There is uncertain population in tibetan plateu or atleast was idk.
Overall
3 animals from montane forests: bear, spider monkey and tree kangaroo
3 animals from typical rocky mountains areas: giant salamander, takin, monal
2 animals from arid montane grasslands: baboon, hyrax
Plants in free update: some cool looking plants from cloud forests and himalayas. Not a bothanic expert, but flora from tropical andes and new guinea mountains look very nice.
I'd love all of those. Griffon Vulture would also be nice for the Walkthrough ExhibitAlpine Marmot, the Capercaillie or even the Mountain Hare would be really interesting imo.
I must insist on this one. I've been wanting this damn bird since forever.Himalayan Monal - bird from himalayas
That is true. There are already three mountain goat species I would like to See in the game and I really cannot decide between them. At the moment my Ranking is Markhor, then Takin, then Barbary Sheep.A mountain pack would be one of the most anticipated releases for me but also makes me nervous because there are so many animals I would want and so few would make it.
Same, except mountain goat doesn't even factor in for me. If we get another caprid from NA I'd like the Bighorn sheep. More versatile.1. Takin
2. Markhor
3. Mountain Goat
For me
Is it? How common are bighorn sheep outside of American zoos? I would have assumed that the urial or the Barbary sheep was more globally widespread than the bighorn.More versatile.
Apparently there is hint at the end of Castle Myers scenario about himalayas.Just chiming in, when did we shift so strongly from birds to a mountain pack
I still don't understand why 'birds' were considered likely to begin with. One bat does not hint towards a full DLC of birds - if anything it suggests we might get some more unique exhibit animals that may include birds.Just chiming in, when did we shift so strongly from birds to a mountain pack
What hint? I haven't bought the DLC yet but that sounds intriguing. And the choice of the himalayan brown bear for the scenario was also curious.Apparently there is hint at the end of Castle Myers scenario about himalayas.
I never saw birds as likely as perhaps others did here. At the moment I think they are introduced in the same way as bats (until Frontier proofs me wrong). And a whole pack with exhibit animals is really not the pack I would like to have (A mixture of habitat and exhibit birds would be another thing I really would support). A general taiga/tundra or a mountains pack would make a Lot of sense for Winter DLC if it is nothing special again (Birds of course, Islands,...).Just chiming in, when did we shift so strongly from birds to a mountain pack
Let me open two new more bird-friendly dlc concpets: a tropical pack and a coastal/islands pack.
Both would work really well giving us birds and filling out Oceania/South America.
Which is still kind of a nocturnal pack just not an animal pack and with a lot less interesting roster that what we were predicting (other than the bat)Now we really only can have ideas of which dlc can be, because well, everithing was pointing out for a nocturnal or other dlcs and we get a "Twilight Pack". Noneone expected that, and less a bat. So now we can´t even have something aproximated for what Frontier is preparing for us
