Placing trees with the smallest radius doesn't always work in enclosed areas e.g. next to buildings or intersecting paths, all we get instead is the placement of some grass. This is especially frustrating when trying to add trees to small spaces or areas so we can hide some buildings/substations etc.

Either fix this or add option for individual placement.

A whole bunch of things in no particular order:

- Better guest ai, stop them from running into dino pens.
- Dinosaurs shouldn't be considered a threat to guests when a guest has gone into its cage. Yes the guest is in danger, but really your park is safe.
- No 'Are you sure' message on selling a fossil you already have 100% genome of
- More player interactions with dinosaurs
- dinosaurs feel more alive, give them more unique animations that they dont share with other species.
- give dinos resting animation, basically more variety in animations for example spooked (but not panicking and fleeing), curious (maybe head tilts or things like that when they see ranger or substation in pen), playing, showing dominance, swimming (some species only), affection (certain dinos of same species could nuzzle or rub against one another, travel around in pen together), grief (when one of its species dies)
- Let herding dinos actually herd together
- Feeders dont need to be resupplied when there is no dino in that pen
- Resupply all option (for feeders), still costs the same as resupplying each individually and takes same amount of time, just spares us from clicking every single one individually
- Warning when dinosaurs have red comfort levels and/or attacking fences
- Dinos that die or are tranq'd in trees are easily seen by transport teams
- Allow queing transport team: Let us be able to click on the transport team and click on a dino the acu is currently knocking out along with destination. When the dino is knocked out transport team can pick up dino and move it to that destination.
-Make missed missions easier to access. (I accidentally cancelled a science mission and have nearly full science rep and still hasnt given me chance to do it)
- Baby dinosaurs, when they come out of hammond creation lab they are a bit smaller.
- Less repetitive voicelines. When Im doing contracts things really lose their impact of feeling special when I hear claire talk about witnessing carnivores in action for like....the tenth time.
- A day/ night cycle.
-Larger sandbox island
-options in sandbow island (all can be switched on/off): everything unlocked, infinite funds, guests needs, comfort needs
- Certain dinosaurs can only break out of certain fence types.
- Raptors 'test the fences' during a power outage like in the movies.
-dinos get small amounts of food from grazing.
-dinos take a little bit of damage from attacking electric fences
- so much more park customization. More paths, benches, statues, flowerbeds, lighting (for night), fountains, etc
- easier ways to remove terrain constraints
- not necessary, but multiplayer could be kind of neat
- ranger jeeps can get damaged by large carnivores and large herbivores

Then of course dinosaurs, but all of the things above are more important/ would be nicer. These dinosaurs are more unique.
-Amargasaurus
-Rhinorex
-Concavenator
- Dimetrodon
- More hybrids
- Oviraptor

I'd also like to see different landscapes. So far all we've got is green grass fields. Perhaps different landscapes with different flora, maybe ones that even kind of sandy and desert-like or some rocky landscapes? Just throwing out some ideas.

More types of employees:
Could we see Jurassic World Security Officers and Park Rangers walking around in the park? I don't believe we have these types of
employees in the game. Right? If so, could we get them in a future update since I like to see more Jurassic World employees besides
Ingen scientist walking around. The Park Rangers and the Security Officers should be a uncommon sight though.

1) Path decorations - lampposts, floodlights, bins, benches, fountains, speakers (with custom music would be nice), statues, fossils, dinosaur info boards by paddocks, street signs, poster boards (with custom image support would be nice)
2) Terrain tools - selection of appropriate biome paints (sand, rock, swamp), rocks, plants/bushes, tall grasses, paleo trees that herbivores can feed on
3) High mast lighting in paddocks to light dinos at night
4) Visitor attractions - viewing domes, jeep safari (JW free drive and JP track ride), balloon ride, Cable Gondola ride, boat ride, treetop walking paths and first person mode for all current and future attractions
5) Tour guides that take guests round the park
6) Herbivore feeders - viewing platform feeding trays/guest hand feeders, treetop walk feeding trays
7) Security cameras
8) Raptor paddocks from both JP and JW
9) Sandbox mode with day/night cycle
10) Jurassic Park assets - buildings, main gate, vehicles
11) Larger variety of guest buildings - shops, food stalls, information stations, dino feed. Also the dino balloon I saw in JW and see the guest walking around with it because why not
12) Ability to purchase more land to build on for each island
13) Staff management - manage training, wages, job types, and moods
14) Staff variety - janitors, entertainers, dino experts at each paddock (maybe in the viewing stations)
15) Visitor management - see guest thoughts and needs globally and individually
16) More ways to access the islands - Helipad and ferry port, then jeep ride or monorail to park entrance
17) Aviary and lagoon
18) Paddock cleaning - dinos do a doo doo, rangers go clean it up
19) Separate restricted staff areas and visitor areas - build all your important staff buildings (power, ACU, expedition centre, fossil and research) away from the main park and have a path locked off via a staff gate
20) Underground power cables
21) maintenance sheds/bunkers for running backup power systems/power relays between different power stations

I'll probably edit this as I think of more stuff

-- side note: ability to pre-load the game for pre-orders

1) Seamless, Dynamic, and High Variation of Dinosaur Killing/Interaction Animations - just like the T-Rex attacks in the announcement trailer.
2) Dinosaurs have good senses and awareness of its surrounding
3) More Touring Rides - automated safaris, boats, hot air balloon tour, underground platform, etc...(in first person view)
4) First Person View and movement control of a park visitor. If Possible, the ability to hop in vehicles, interacts with objects, hides, and uses tools.
5) Proper Hunting/Grazing Behaviors - Herd Formation/Evasion for Herbivores; Ambushes/Coordinated Group Attack for Carnivores. Scouting, Territorial Guarding.......and a full-blown Rampage mode.
6) Better Dinosaur AI - Personalities for dinosaurs, ability to develop relationship with other dinosaurs and human, ability to learn and adapt to environment.
7) Real Time fluent and continuous attacking (slashing, biting, charging, tail whipping) and evasive maneuvers that can lead to injury or potential missed attempt/escape, as an alternative to the finishing cinematic killing animation / cinematic Turn-Based dinosaurs fighting animation - just like the T-Rex missed bites in the announcement trailer.
8) Vulnerability of everything and everyone including park workers.
9) Blue, Rexy, Mosasaurus, I-Rex, Indo-Raptor.

[Somewhat in Order of Priorities]

I think dino which is pack hunters like raptors or dilophosaurus can team up to take down herbivores, for instance Like 3 raptors help rach other to take stegosaurus that would be awesome

When we close our parks the massive JP doors should close at the entrance like in og.

For dlc i want more buildings, paddocks and amenities: A petting zoo building, mosasaurus tank, Original JP Visitor Center, an aviary dome that has a clear tunnel in the middle u can connect to pathways so guests can walk through and see pterasaurs flying overhead, a safari suv ride, maybe other rides like dino merrigoroound, roller coaster, theme based food shops like a rex burger, Velociraptor paddocks from original JP and training facility in JW, enclosed indominus paddock with viewing platform built in with higher walls, different types of trees like redwood forest and pines, turn grass into desert, long savanah grass as alternate to ferns.

Dlc skins for velociraptors: lost world tiger stripe, blue, delta and others from jw

Dlc skins for Rex: org JP, lost world, and jp3 green

Dlc skins for choppers and jeeps: give us green n yellow jp safari truck skins

Dlc Jurassic Park skins for the whole park like gate entrances that dont say jw

Dlc dino animations for socializing and fights dino specific.

Destructible rangers

Dlc dino behavior where dinos avoid fights if not near 100 health or not hungry

Dlc catwalks over top of paddocks

Dlc dino animation for sleep/resting

Display signs for paddocks like in jursssic park

Fountains and statues for decorations in park along pathways

Lethal guns for rangers and choppers. Active once a dino kills a certain number of people if you want to restrict its use.

A lure or dino call speaker u can activate to get dinos near viewing platforms

In future want first person view or guest mode where u can walk around and enter viewing areas and ride the montarails n other rides.

Beef up indominus aggression ai so it attacks everything on sight in its paddock even sauropods.

Give dino ai fear... In og if a dino lost a fight but retreated it would survive in the paddock by running away whenever the stronger carnivore was nearby

I agree that the Spino should be larger than the T-Rex, but the example provided here make the T-Rex look miniature. I'm pretty sure the T-Rex in JW was comparable in size to the I-Rex - not identical, but she sure didn't appear as small as it's implied by this picture.

DLC Idea

Trespasser DLC
  • Albertosaurus and/or its skin if included/added elsewhere
  • Velociraptor skins for all 3 raptor "tribes" in Trespasser
  • Trespasser's alternate Site B as a playable island
  • Both Lindstradt Air Rifles from Trespasser, available as researches for your ACU and/or Ranger Teams. One of them would make your tranquilizer more potent and the other allow you to put your dinosaurs down.
  • Some decorative stuff, for example the Mayan-esque ruins or the statue from the town of Burroughs.
  • Maybe even port over some of the John Hammond narration from Trespasser, for example for the Velociraptors, Albertosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and he even has a line explaining Site B in Trespasser.

First of all: Good day ladies and gents! Your game looks awesome!

But there are some fixable things that bother me a bit and i couldnt find a thread about it, so here we go:

- Decoration: i and some friends hope to see more plants/flowers/statues in the near future. i mean, you have great ideas like you showed us in the great game Planet Coaster.

- Animations: some kill-animations should get fixed (just looks weird when the carnivore-head is a mile away from the actual throat ) and imho you should add some more animations which leads us to

- Extended animations for certain dinos: some more carnivores should have kill-animations for sauropods like my beloved Allosaurus.

- Buffs/Nerfs: please buff some certain herbivores like Ankylo and all sauropods! and nerf some carnivores. (except T-Rex and Baryonyx, who are both imo a bit too weak )

- Size actual matters: i (we) know you do your best and you have film restrictions (thats why you cant make the Dilo bigger like in RL) BUT certain carnivores should be resized. ESPECIALLY: Giganotosaurus and Spino. both should be bigger!

Beside these things your game is great and is easily one of the best construction strategy / management games of the hole time which even in looks is just bootiful!

Keep up the amazing work!!! and i hope at least a few of these things will get attention.

Bye!

Edit: oh, and some boats who travel like Gyrospheres would be awesome!! just imagine: you make a deep jungle with rivers and let visiters travel on it let them watch some baryonyx and suchos drink and eat fish! :O

1) Dinosaurs' AI and behavior need an overhaul. They should be proactive in tending to their needs and need spacial awareness (tired of dinosaurs clipping though objects), carnivores need to be not genocidal. JPOG sets a great standard for this already

2) less micromanaging busywork. Constantly sending rangers to refill feeders and clean out corpses is not fun. It's tedious. Automating some of these processes can go a long way towards lessening the tedium

3) more space

4) More buildings like kiosks, vending machines, stands, etc

Could you look into adding a 'Real Time with Pause' mechanic by designating a button or key to simply stop/pause any event that is going on during the game?
For example, a Dinosaur escapes? Press designated key or button to pause and stop everything so that you can assign respective rangers etc. to handle the situation.
Now with everything Paused, nothing you set up or start such as buildings and research will occur until you press the key again.

I've found myself very frustrated trying to manage and build my park while dinos are escaping and making me drop whatever it is I was working on.

In the case of buildings, stuff you placed could be 'ghosted' to show where or what you built but won't begin building until after you've pressed the key again.

Simple-to-implement Sandbox Options
First of all, as a Jurassic fan since the age of eight, I want to thank Frontier for doing such a fantastic job with this game! It certainly has a lot of potential, and I just wanted to post a few easy-to-implement features they can add to the "Sandbox options" that would improve the game with minimal programming on their part.

For those of us who have completed the campaign, sandbox mode is where we will be spending our time, and the more we can tailor the experience to our personal preferences, the better.
Whilst I agree that the addition of these options would "make the game too easy" remember... this is Sandbox mode we are talking about. Making a 5 star park is not difficult by any means and some players (such as myself) sometimes want a relaxing experience and just focus on building and enjoying their park without being hassled by constant, nagging busywork.

Easy-to-implement Sandbox options

Most Important:

Dinosaur Ageing: Slow/Normal/Fast/Off
For me this is the most important option to add. Frontier gave us neat dinosaur customisation and the ability to name your dinosaurs. However, I don't bother with any of that stuff - it just doesn't seem worthwhile when they die in only an hour or two. Personally I would very much like the option to disable death by old age.

Feeder Depletion Rate: Slow/Normal/Fast/Off
Refilling the feeders is a frequent annoyance (in my opinion) and something I could gladly do without.

Less Important:

Comfort Requirements: On/Off
The ability to switch this off would be nice, would allow more flexibility and creativity when building enclosures and more about building how you want rather than how the game says you have to. Perfect for Sandbox.

Infinite Funds: On/Off
The game would keep track of your park's funds whether enabled or disabled, so when switching between the options, the game knows how much money you should have. I feel many players would like the additional challenge of playing with finite money.

Incubation Speed: Low/Normal/High/Instant
Is there any good reason we should have to wait ages to hatch dinosaurs in Sandbox mode?

Other possible options:

Build Speed: Slow/Normal/Fast/Instant
No reason we should have to wait to build things in Sandbox mode... not such a big deal though.

Power Output: Low/Normal/High/Infinite
Ability to produce unlimited power would be welcome, would allow more space for other buildings.

Dear Frontier, please consider adding these options to Sandbox mode! I just want to relax and enjoy my sandbox park without having to keep replacing dead dinosaurs and refilling feeders constantly!

Count me in too!!! I agree I agree I agree!!! Same order, same stuff! I also want to relax and be a guest in my own park ( with the jeep and helicopter perks)
+ sandbox mode unlocked to any of the island after reaching 5 stars!!! ( 5 stars on Muerta, sandbox unlocked for that island.)
