For unban pack to me it would be useless and a terrible sell. No animals I’m dying for let alone interested in that would suit this pack. Right beside Tundra for my least favourite pack idea.

This is how my habitats look selling off all the injured animals after trying to ‘shiny hunt’ an albino.
This is what happens when I forget to turn on contraceptive for my animals.
Right? It could give us three of the top 10 in the Meta Wishlist (Wolverine, Walrus and Muskox), some unique rigs (Sea Otter and Puffin), and a new animal to use the chorus mechanic (Roosevelt Elk). There are so many possibilities for unique and highly requested animals in a Tundra Pack. It’s why it’s in my top predicted pack for this winter!
I will so mad if they did this and may even leave the game forever. It is the one thing frontier could possibly do that would make me hate the game.
I hate the sentiment of lets replace it because no one likes it this just opens up the idea to apply that notion anywhere and swap anything out which would just ruin the whole dynamic of the game also the Himalayan bear is its own thing let it exist in peace was it objectively the wrong choice of bear probably but that doesnt mean it shouldnt be in the game at all its here now leave it alone. I feel it would also cheapen the identity of both the european bear and the himalayan bear essentially calling them the same thing indirectly and giving each a perceived value which isnt something I would want to see from the game
To be clear I hate the idea of replacements not the european brown bear or the himalayan brown bear specifically.
I am also fine with renames such as the timber wolf to grey wolf but I would also be deeply disappointed about conversions to subspecies from a main species (unless they then added the rest of the subspecies).
I just feel that the game should stick with what they originally intended the roster to be sure fix up inconsistencies in common names (or update scientific names to be clear update not change), looks and ranges but straight up changing the animal is a no from me.
it would probably be central america since they already have an ingame tag for it I know this doesnt cover as much of south america as people want but th term is more recognisable than latin america has a clear boundary and would contain enough of what people want.
im going to say no unless they do flight animations as a form of running like the bird flies low to the ground to get from a to b. I just think it would be weird if they walked everywhere same reason im iffy on ducks but it is plausible.

IMO
- the best animal pack would have bat-eared fox! Notice I said animal pack. People would be upset if a bat-eared fox showed up in an animal pack let alone a scenery pack. Haha
- Arid was a fine pack
- We need more reptiles
- We need more birds
- We need more monkeys
- We could use another giraffe! or zebra or something
- Animal packs are the best
- Sumatran tiger is almost essential
- Grasslands best pack ever
- Aquatic was overrated...
- Africa could use more mammals...
- ...but other regions should be prioritized I guess
- Support could go on for at least another year! People do buy packs I think!
- arid was fine it was just marketed horribly and came at the wrong time labelled it as a north africa pack and had it come out before grasslands and it wouldnt have gotten anywhere near as much hate
- yes we need more reptiles and birds mammals can wait
- im not too passionate on monkeys since the gives me the creeps but people like them
- both a zebra and giraffe would make great filler animals giraffe is more needed since there is nothing else close to a giraffe but neither are truly necessary
- no scenery packs are better for the longevity of the game since scenery pieces are so much more versatile then animals are and the packs themselves tend to sustain hype better.
- grasslands was definitely the best animal pack everything had its place and its one of the few packs where the exhibit animal was as much of a seller and the habitat animals
- yeah aquatic is overrated good at the time hasn't held up
- africa can get more mammals when everywhere else isnt devoid of life
yeah its probably a memory association thing where the people who bought the pack on release associate it the pack with deep diving. The aquatic pack on release was the best pack hands down everything in it was unique and diverse however everything but the terrapin and caiman have better and more wanted alternatives so unless you could only get one pack and needed a combination of otter penguin and seal your better off getting the 2 alternative packs.
in the base game both tigers the grizzly and formosan bear all can deep dive plus the polar bear from the arctic pack and the jaguar from south america so there were animals outside the pack but only really the crocs and the polar bears I would consider proper aquatic animals.
probably koi because it would be the most useful
I've always thought koi would be a great animal ambient effect. I can imagine the difficulty of making a pool for them if they were habitat animals as they tend to be rocky and shallow.
I was under the impression the user meant adding the EBB as a separate species but just using the HBB model. Not an entire replacement.
I hate the HBB being in game. It was the most awful choice Frontier has made to date (in my eyes). But to replace it with the EBB would be a bad idea. Whenever we talk about the HBB in relation to the EBB, it’s usually a case of ‘splitting it’, and adding the EBB separately.
Actually replacing an animal would be such a bad idea, it's a real animal that still deserves a place in the game as much as we hate it.
Yeah but this was only added much later, months or even years in case of the tapir i think, thats why i specificly said "at the time"
Already shared my thoughts on a tundra pack, in short, Walrus Musk Ox Puffin & Stoat = Useless (not in captivity or boring or rip offs of better versions of animals), no bear, no markhor, no pallas cat, wouldnt give us a cat which breaks the pattern unless we get Canada Lynx which I really don't see, Sea Otter is just eh,
On the slight brighter side:
Wolverine & Arctic Hare = Amaze Balls
Roosevelt Elk = Pretty Good addtion
Koi, African cichlids, and tilapia. In that order.
It's basically a red deer though... yet chubby walrus is not appealing
All of these are held in captivity and are unique.
this is a ‘pattern’ you have made up. There is no ‘cat pattern’, just as there is no pattern of DLC theme or no reliable pattern of animal vs scenery pack.
