Guys I need your opinions on something:

For Eastborro Zoo, I can do one of two things:
1. Arabian Nights, a nocturnal house with maybe Sand Cats and Caracals, and maybe fruit bats if I can find a way to make the exhibit look smaller. This would connect the Asia to future Africa sections.
2. Something else, not sure exactly what, but I’m open to ideas 😅
Arabian nights sounds cool. I'd add fennec foxes, as well.

But if you want another idea, try a South American reptile house, featuring all the in-game Central and South American exhibit reptiles/amphibians, plus dwarf caimans. Call it something like La Víbora (The Viper), to make it sound like an ancient city filled with reptiles

Oooh, that’s a really cool idea! Maybe I’ll put it after San Marcos as the start of the SA section…

Fennec foxes in Arabia seems to be kind of debated. Planet Zoo and about half of online maps say they only go to Egypt, while the other half say they’re on the peninsula. Maybe I’ll just put them in anyways, Egypt is in the Middle East so I’ll let it slide.

Oh, Arabia, a-doy. I was thinking Egypt for whatever reason.

And regarding the reptile house, you should just lookup Spanish words for different types of reptiles:
  • Caiman is the same (pronounced caimán)
  • Víbora is viper
  • Serpiente is snake
  • Boa is the same
  • Pitón is python
  • Cocodrilo is crocodile
  • Lagartija is lizard
  • Lagarto means alligator and/or lizard. Alligator comes from that word and essentially means big lizard
  • Sapo is toad
  • Rana is frog
  • Tortuga is both turtle and tortoise. To be more specific, tortuga de tierra is tortoise (land turtle), tortuga de agua are sliders/pond turtles (water turtle), tortuga de mar is sea turtle, and tortuga ninja is ninja turtle
  • Salamandra is salamander

The best sources I can find all agree the fennec fox is limited to north africa with a small stretch to the sinai peninsula. Confusions seem to extend the range to the Arabia which often mix up the fennec and ruppell's fox which have similar ranges except the ruppell's fox is actually found in Arabia unlike the fennec. Still though, one could easily add fennec foxes in a Arabian themed habitat.

I was really sorry to hear about your dad @DarthQuell - has he got a good plan for recovery? Lovely of you to take care of him. I hope you're doing okay 💗
Wait, what happened? Is he okay?
Well, he was diagnosed with an incurable disease, ALS. So far, docs aren't even sure if it's that, but still, we have no idea what it is. So.my.brother and. I took over the business and are doing the jobs for him. In general, though, we're all doing good, happy, moving forward

I am sick 🤮. I was just fine this morning and went to work. Now I feel like I am gonna die. Thought at first it was a bad cold but not so sure about it now. Anyway I can't sleep so I Will be here for a while.

Yeah, I’m feeling alright atm. I have some advil on board so it’s helping for now. I’m at that point where buttered toast is a gourmet meal 🤣
Aw, rough! Hope you feel better soon ✨

💗💗💗💗💗💗 oh I'm so sorry Lucas. I hope that he gets a different diagnosis. Sorry if you didn't want to talk about that here, just wanted to reach out. Sounds really tough. Good for you and your brother, I imagine he must be so so proud of you both.

Aww, thanks..I actually got some water in my eyes.
We're keeping strong, and we have many things working in our favor, so we aren't giving up. And he's actually not doing too bad for somebody in this supposed condition. And the docs are holding out a little bit of hope, so we're just preparing

You and your family sound so wise and resilient and postive and caring. You can face anything with that. Take it from a cancer survivor 😊 hope is everything and enjoying the little good moments, it sounds as though they are bountiful in your household. I'm not a prayer but I'll be wishing a little magic your way.
