STOP FIXING THINGS THAT DO NOT MATTER FIX THE THINGS THAT KEEP THIS GAME BROKEN.[/SIZE]

Dude! There has got to be a bottle of happy juice somewhere with your name on it. Go drink a case.

They are fixing game mechanics and system integrity. Not exactly sure why you think it doens't matter. If the game doesn't stay running, you won't be able to shoot anything anyway.

Application function, system crashes, and stability take precedence over how many npc's or PC's you kill.

Give them time, missions are actually high on their priority list.

So many ignorant tantrums, so much outrage over nothing and so many examples of amateur dramatics in this thread, it's like a wormhole opened up between the Frontier forums and Tumblr! Keep it up guys!

I'm happy that we are getting these updates. We all have our own personal wish lists, but there are still those of us who know better than to proclaim our chosen order of operations to be the right one, with virtually no information or expertise to back us up. And, of course, those grim predictions of doom rear their heads again.

Good things come to those who wait, people.

Loads of us have waited decades, so they could add another year or so on to the schedule and it wouldn't make a dent in our optimism for this game. I want it to be done right, however long that takes.

Of course there are those grumpy old farts who join in the whining and spoil that picture a bit, but then again, they may not make it as far as planetary landings, and probably have the twitch reflexes of salmon (tinned), so it's hardly a surprise if they aren't enjoying getting their space coffins cremated by Commanders Neckbeard and Pimple so much, so they can be forgiven. The rest should be ashamed, however.

+1 Rep... Saved me typing something similar

Yeah, I agree. I just received a mail this afternoon that my ticket reporting the station blowing me up (from 3 weeks ago with no response yet) and me losing 230,000 credits, was closed and if the issue still existed I should reply to the mail. Guess what? When I replied to the mail I got an undeliverable back.

I went into the support site and opened my ticket again, as this is now a paid game and my issue happened after release. I would like my credits back!!!!!

So, right after posting the above, I noticed a mail from support stating they had refunded my credits. Mind you, I almost didn't notice the amount in game, as I have quite a healthy balance now to be honest.

thanks FDev!!!

Is this for you or for Commanders? I'm one of those with a ticket because a station blew me up as soon as I was undocked from the landing pad so wondering if this is some kind of admission that there is an issue and I might actually get my ship back...

I ticketed a bug where I was in outfitting buying equipment and suddenly was lit up like a Christmas tree and killed by the station... Been there for like 10 mins buying cargo, plotting route etc and then suddenly "Pad loiterimg" then Wanted as a fugitive, then BOOM!!! Put me right off buying stuff in outfitting for a while!!!!

agree on you. during beta there were not so many people ranting about this.
That's the point: we're not in beta anymore and FD choose to release the game even it wasn't finished at all.

I'm an automation software developer, essentially working with my team on large industrial and offices buildings on energy management softwares and frameworks.
When we deliver something to our customers, it has to work at 100% (not 90% and even not 99.99%, no, 100%) and with 0 bugs. Otherwise we're not paid at all. And we speak about 100K$ to 1M$ price ranges here.
Being not able to play this game I already paid for was acceptable during beta. It is not anymore.
I already asked for a refund, but like my other support tickets, it's still unanswered...

Had the same problem. While I'm in outfitting at Harvestdock a "Airlock loitering" warning appears and the station destroyed my ship.

I am not saying this to insult, but software development for automation, is in general much much simpler and straight forward then software that has to handle games and such, not saying you guys don't know what you are doing, but I think you should at the very least acknowledge that fact, and while I agree with you that a release should be bug free especially in a multiplayer game, I personally have not encountered any bugs other then the rep one, and that was rapidly fixed. Now I am not saying that there aren't bugs, but considering how rapidly they are patching, how little downtime there actually is on the game, and that frontier is clearly doing their best to fix it and are doing so quite fast, especially compared to the many many other developers.

Someone in a FB group I belong to has been 'sploded with similar messages before even reaching the station so if they are including data to figure out why then fair enough, that's good and I see someone had credits refunded so they know it's an issue. Definitely ticket it though.

I wonder if different locations has something to do with these sudden explosions and stations firing. My starting place was eravate area and I have never had problems with stations. Now I am cruising towards sol area. Who knows what the stations have in mind in there :)

I don't want to be rude, but – well, this is a game, not an energy management or office building software. Thus, market and customers don't have that much in common. Sure, it would have been possible to squash more bugs before release, but this would mean a lot less features. Complexity for the developers is also at least higher regarding that the game should be able to run on every zoo of hardware components, multiple operating systems which the customer puts together, adding the fact the there are much, much more customers, all with vastly different expectations. These and many other things are reasons that it should be expected that a commercial game in version 1.05 still contains bugs. Looking at what I've seen and heard from the game all around I'm also not sure one could say that "it wasn't finished at all".

I'm not saying that it's great tickets are left unanswered or that one shouldn't get a refund – in case the game was bought when it was advertised as a completed project. But from my personal point of view, have a bug-free game in the current stage or even much later on is simply not possible, because software quality like this is not only much, much more expensive and work-intensive, but I also seriously doubt there's any software with 0 bugs around at all.

I made the schlep from Eravate to Sun Takush and in had been there a few times, when I was exploded so it can't have been anything like rep as I am neutral to that station. And when I bought my ship back, there were no bounties on my head despite having been Wanted for recklessly spending in Outfitting!!! Haven't been back there since...

"Fastest routes" in the route planner no longer works since 1.05.
There is no difference in the plotted routes when switching between fastest and economical routes, and when you re-enter the galaxy map, the selection has reverted to economical.
Great if you don't have a fuel scoop, but I do.
I was hoping that this selection would remain persistent across game sessions, like the other galaxy map options (show trade routes, factions, etc)
Raising a ticket.

It isn't but will be extended to 1,000 ly in the 1.1 update:

That's excellent news. Thank you Michael and the devs.

May I second the suggestion of including known issues in the next change log? I'm sure it would reduce the number of tickets you are getting if people knew that they weren't alone with their problem and that it is being addressed.
Personally I don't give a monkey's about the landing pad bug, I keep my eyes open as I enter the station when it is usually still visible and in the worst case scenario I throttle back and wait for it to reappear. I understand that other people might consider it important though so I wouldn't insist that my issue should take priority.

The only problem that actually affects the way I play is the one where people in a private group are put in different servers and can only find each other by going into open play, finding each other on the radar and then going back to the private group. I have logged a ticket for it but I haven't seen any official acknowledgement that it is being worked on so the known issues being published with the change log would certainly have put my mind at rest.

Any chance you could force the 'Starport Services' option to be always selected on entering a station. Believe me the minutes of my life lost to accidentally relaunching is killing me. Please just fix it!

Or maybe you should take more care when docked? This isn't a bug. It's you not selecting the right option. Not a dev problem at all.

So all that whinging was pretty pointless then, wasn't it?

Since the patch the influence percentages have gone mad in the systems I'm in. They have leapt by 20% in favour of the factions I've been doing work for and I finally feel like I'm doing something!

Not going mad but there may have been a week to two weeks of backlog, the devs just did a manual push thro of all the backlogged actions in all systems ( a lot of small systems i frequent have moved a few % points) if they can come up with a way of doing a lot of this automatically with each downtime each day or even every hour or so dynamically then all they will have to do then is respond to big things like station flipping pending, or system pending, ro expansion of colonies, new outposts and upgrading of stations

I've had the exact same thing happen, the '%' just didn't seem to be moving and I was doing a ton of missions for Emperors Grace then last night noticed it had jumped from 8% to 47% and FINALLY my own rank in the Empire started moving..

On flip side I done 8 successful missions for Emperors Grace and somehow ended up with a red down arrow on rep... !? for now I can live with it, there are other more pressing matters imho.

I think it happens realtime, because I noticed the system go from 47% (which was equal the previous controlling faction) to 50+% after a few missions.
