Non-functional on Apple iPad tablet. The landing page looks pretty, but no buttons or menus work.
Edit: Also nonfunctioning on Windows Phone 8.1 browser.
That's funny, I think the opposite is better, but then again, I'm left-handedMight have to get a vote of consensus on this
cmmcleod, I have to ask. Is there any chance that you release a similar tool for the iPhone in the future? I understand that coding and deployment works entirely different in this platform but it would be just awesome to have a good native Elite tool on iOS. I know that many others would delight in such a solution.
If not possible, please at least make the webapp a little more friendly and adapted to mobile interfaces. Even on the iPhone 6 Plus it's hard to use in its current state.
Works on iphone, but you need to click on actions for over one second to register as a lmb click.
I don't think I'll build a native iOS app (essentially redoing everything and only for iOS). I will however improve the layout and add responsiveness to support Mobile displays and improve tablet display. The layout as it is needs plenty, plenty of work and improvement. But it will come!
That is good news. Thanks! Looking forward to it and I'll be glad to test it on different iOS devices with as many builds as possible.
There is something I'm missing from your current version though. The units you are using for rating in Fuel Scoops is relevant but not ideal. Take the example of a 5A Fuel Scoop, in Coriolis it states a rate of 0.577 t/s while in ED Shipyard we get a rate of 577 kg/s (55s to fill). The rate is the same but I believe that the rate we get in-game when scooping is presented in kg/s right? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but mostly I'm finding the usage of t/s units confusing as they differ from the ones we have in-game. Additionally the information of the time to fill the tank, in this case 55s on a Python is interesting to see at glance and I wish you would consider adding it.
Keep up the good work. Right on commander.
Fine here on iPad Air.
Oh - and great work OP. Thanks for creating and sharing.
Yeah fair enough. Good suggestion for kg/s (I was going for consistency of T's throughout the app, but I think you are right). Fill time is coming soon. I'll get around to it this evening!
Thanks again. It's really nice how you're dedicated to improve this and further polish.
Just another input, this time concerning consistency and elegance of design (UI). It's a small detail but it makes a big difference visually in my opinion. Also makes it easier to compare at glance several ships and quickly see how many hardpoints of each size they have without mixing them together. Tell me what you think of this suggestion.
