I'm not sure a station will ever be built in the near future, unless as part of some future community goal. According to the lore as I understand it, the station was dismantled and the system cordoned off by the Federation as they illegally pillage the ancient antiquities on the main planet at Isinor. It's one of those "black sites" as it were. So I'm not optimistic that inserting a station there is in the cards yet.

Now that Sirius is controlled by Sirius Free, I take it getting allied to Sirius Corp no longer issues the permit.

You can guess why I am asking

Hmm, you know that's a good question. If that's the case, someone needs to expand Sirius Free to an outside system and then look into whether or not the new controlling faction gives out the permit. If so, then something needs to be fixed in terms of making it where ANY faction in a permit system can hand out a permit, regardless of whether they are the controlling faction or not.

The secret to charity missions.... Take a cargo hold full of what they normally want. Turn it in. Wait 5 minutes, check to see if another mission pops.

Summerland is not awarded at Lord, you have to please the Summerland Patron's Party faction in a nearby system Tamar to get the permit.

I just got Warrant Officer with the feds and the permit to ROSS 128 is not automatic.

Probably they are planning to put something good at Isinor, thats why its locked, since Isinor appears on one of the books where Alex Ryder travels.

Technically that permit is linked to your standing with the Summerland Patron's faction, it is just a coincidence that it happened at the same time you got your baron rank.

Or possibly you need both to trigger it.

Do you think it will be possible to get the system permit without going through the Imperial Rank structure?

I have that permit too. Last time I was there there were federation ships carrying weapons grade hanifium.
